I'm sure these guys are tired of losing and being the joke of the league. Looks like they want to make the most of this fresh start.

For heaven's sake, O'Brien, don't start giving them days off from practice already! Wake up, man! You have a medocre team, at best. They need ALL the practices they are allowed under NBA rules! They need the conditioning required to play the fast style you want, if nothing else. And believe me, there's plenty else - they need to work on chemistry, they need practice playing fast, they need the repetitions (Practice makes perfect, or better anyway.), they need the practice time to learn their teammates' games better, to review fundamentals, to learn a new system. Taking a day off when the NBA allows practing that day is exactly the lax attidude and behavior that got got us into our current mquagmire of mediocrity. Practice, man, practice!!

If I had a dollar for every preseason article that I have read about Murphy being in great shape and Dunleavy hitting consistently from the 3-point line I would a lot richer. It is no coincidence that the Warriors first playoff run in over a decade coincided with the abrupt downfall of the Pacers. The common demoninator - Murphy and Dunleavy. They are both nice guys and good complimentary players but way overpaid and way too passive and gutless, as evidenced by their weak performance in their first game against the Warriors while Jackson and Harrington dominated them. Any player with some pride would have stepped up their intensity level when playing against their former team.

If you use the right words, you can make anyone see your point of view, even if they don't agree.
