Uhh.. no, Mike. You're wrong.
The columnist didn't write that O'Brien said he "wouldn't be surprised", the columnist said that O'Brien "can't be surprised" if they trade O'Neal.
There's a BIG difference.
The columnist was simply stating that if O'Brien DID say that he was willing to accept a 50 loss season (which he claims he didn't say... and I believe him), that O'Brien (or anyone for that matter) couldn't be surprised if O'Neal was traded.
In other words, if the Pacers stink it up, O'Neal will probably be traded.
Need to get the facts straight before making accusations.
