Miller and Jackson, two class acts. Just a reminder of the type organization the Pacers USED to be.

True. This team hasn't been the same since their only chance for the NBA championship back in 2000.

I wouldn't say that. They competed for a championship in 2004 as well. They gave a revamped Detroit team all they could handle in the Eastern Conference Finals before Detroit went on to demolish the Lakers in 5 games (and almost a sweep if it wasn't for Kobe's one great game).

A 4-2 series isnt exactly giving them all they could handle...

The only other team that could have possibly competed against us was New Jersey that year, and I still think we would have beaten them. Detroit was a worse matchup for us. I'm just saying, people get caught up on the nostalgia of "oh man.. remember when we went to the finals? Remember Reggie and Dale and Rik and Travis and Antonio? Yeah those were the days..." and they don't even remember that the Pacers were a definite title contender in the years following the breakup of the 2000 team. It's the difference between being a casual fan who catches a game now and then on national TV, and being a tried and true fan who will find a way to watch every game if it means refreshing the live gamecast on nba.com .

Look, I know this is a long way off and personally I don't really even wanna think about it. But I bet Dallas Clark or as I like to call him Diamond Dallas Clark will be a better analyst when he retires a long time form now.

And for the record, here's a few other nick names I thought of for a few other Colts

Ed Johnson-Big Johnson
Marlin Jackson-Mad Man Marlin
Matt Geordano-Geo
Dantai Huges-Mr. Dauntai
Ben Utech-Big Ben
Bryan Fletcher-Fletch

And well most of my other nick names were really for the most part thought of by Duke Tumatoe and well a few others like Gonzo were thought of by others.

We do miss Reggie's class. I've been a Pacers fan since the days of Mel Daniels, Bob Netolecky, Roger Brown and Billy Keller. It would be nice if Larry B. would toughen up on the bad guys and put together a team that is competitive and one we can be proud to root for. I expected more from one of the greatest players ever to dribble a ball and LB has disappointed me so far. Most of these guys are constantly injured and we still have some who draw attention to themselves by criminal acts.
