As a Cleveland sports fan, the Cavs season opener can't get here fast enough. 2009 has been brutal to this point (thrown in the perils of Terrelle Pryor too). The rest of the country can mock the Indians and Browns all they want, and deservedly so, and they can lampoon the city of Cleveland itself, but when the Cavs are playing it's time to zip-it.

This should be a fun season. The Cavs upgraded their roster in a big way both literally and figuratively. It's deep and prepared to give Lebron the help he has lacked to this point.

From my point of view, the Browns final game of the season is this Sunday.

Love the Cavs, I read an article yesterday that said the C-Bus TV ratings are comparable to the Blue Jackets!

Lebron might be the top player in the league, but he's not joyous. Far from it.

The Cavs machine is just getting started and they've had some distractions during training camp to be sure. When (if) Delonte West returns to form, they will be even better. They need to start strong next Tuesday against the Celtics who are still very dangerous and hungry. Mo Williams needs to relax and play his role and Mike Brown has the task of making it happen. Last night should be all the motivation they need to get it going.
