Hate Orlando wrote: <quoted text> The city needs it??!! WTF? Orlando needs public transportation. Look at the failed history of light rail in Orange County. Your spineless politicians gave in to Disney and you get stuck on I-4 everyday. Just like I did when I lived there. Light Rail would be in place now if they didn't cave. Suck it Crotty!! FYI, we tried to do light rail again earlier this year (everyone here in Central Fl was for it) and it failed because the State Senate got cold feet

I have to agree with "love it" on this one.
It's interesting how people behave when they can hide behind the anonymity of an online forum.
Are people seriously using phrases like "Buddy Fat Head Dyer" and "Crochy" in their posts? Seriously??? Are we in the second grade? Listen, I am sorry that no one sat with you at lunch in high school. Time to move on and learn how to have an intelligent conversation.
It's no wonder why your opinions are completely marginalized by normal, everyday citizens.
Secondly, I am looking forward to the new arena, performing arts center and the upgraded Citrus Bowl. These projects will keep construction jobs in Central Florida despite the slump in the housing market. Even more than that - I look forward to attending events in the new buildings.
Listen, I know you negative folks can go to a tractor pull virtually anywhere, but I look forward to better quality events that will come with the new venues.
If you don't live in the City of Orlando, you really have no business commenting anyway.
Lastly, I am not sure if the Sentinel is purposely trying to be negative with their headline "Few Hundred People" but another way to say that is "Hundreds of People."
Thanks.

Next time you go online, you may want to look up how an IP address works. It does not note your location, it notes your server location. Nice try though. I live in Orlando. ntheno wrote: <quoted text> Interesting. Mr./Ms. just as anonymous as everyone else "Orlando" is in la de dah Winter Park.

I would like to know if they have any plans to do anything about all the run down, half abandoned, shack homes that are surrounding all of these other Big -Time Renervations that are going on? I don't see or hear anyone discussing about that. All Downtown is looking great but again, what are they going to do with all the families that live in those run down homes & shacks, that is making the DownTown still look HORRIBLE!!!!!What is the point of fixing Downtown with all this surrounding it? the poverty, the drugs being sold by kids on bikes & all the Homeless People???? someone answer that???
