Painful Game 1 loss opens old wounds for Suns

Ginobili and Duncan get away with murder. Suns can win this series if Shaq and Amare stay out of foul trouble, and they play decent defense on Duncan. Forget game 1 and how the Suns blew an opportunity to gain home court advantage --- it's over. Just remember what Robert Horry did last yr and the way the Spurs cheap shot their way to the title. This could be the Suns yr. if they remain patient. D'Antoni is a great coach, PHX, try watching boring Eastern basketball if you want frustration.

Here we go again. The whiny excuses, last year the Spurs cheap shot to the title. Phoenix is a great team that other than Nash, has very little intelligence on the court and you see what happened at the end. Until they "smart up" it will be the same old story. Smart intelligent basketball wins in the playoffs, Suns unfortunately lack that quality.

That the San Antonio Spurs are this and that, blah, blah, blah by now we’ve heard them all. However statistics indicate that the Phoenix Suns got to the free throw line more often than the Spurs in game one. Everyone saw the foul called on Tim Duncan and then when the play was replayed it clearly showed that Duncan didn’t even touch his opponent, so who got cheated? That the Spurs clearly demonstrated why they are NBA Champions and that Tim Duncan can shoot threes is a different story! So all you whiners disguised as fans (true fans don’t cry to the World we just hurt deep inside), either get a life or jump on someone else’s wagon because the only place the Suns are going is home….no this is not their year either and won’t be for a very long time. It might be a good idea to start thinking of new excuses too because Spurs fans have heard them all, beside everyone knows what is said about excuses!
