I hope the FBI took the time to place the ref under electronic and on the ground surveillance. If he was crooked he has to contact his cohorts and he has to put his bets down.

Maybe the FBI should have asked the Great Suffolk County DA for help on the case. He has been known to boast about how he can follow persons of interest in the world of electronics.

simply by the nature of his employment that requires him to travel makes it likely he needed to be in contact to get his bets off and to share the information. There has to be a trail.

NBA refs have escaped greater scrutiny for too long. Does anyone else remember the scandal a few seasons back when several refs were pocketing cash for airline tickets?

its a disingenuous article. If the spread changed by 2 points in the games he worked, how about mentioning the change in spread for the rest of the league? was it considerably lower? higher?
