The only thing that can defeat the Lakers is the Lakers team. If they would attack the rim, and stay with their opponent's three point shooters on defense, look for their big men rather than taking low percentage perimeter shots, they will definietly win!

I hope the LAkers are getting rested because this is going to be a hard team to figure out.
If they use the aggression they came out with recently they may prevail but they will likely not see Denver fold from missed shots so they can't count on that cushion.
The first game will be interesting as it will likely be a hands off by the officials so we can see whatup.

You think Phil and the team doesn't know this? You think the opposing team doesn't know this?

It's not as simple as you think. The big men have to get good position and not be triple teamed or have to much pressure on them.

That sums it up in a nutshell. The Lakers are unstoppable when playing tenacious D. Therin Lies the problem....

Lakers just need to show up, they are their own worst enemy, I really believe the only team that can defeat the lakers is the lakers themselves, if they dont win it this year they should be ashamed of themselves but too early to judge them yet.

I think the Lakers can smell a championship. It's only one series away and there are going to go after the Nuggets like hungry dogs. This is Kobe's defining monent, that is, to win a championsjip without Shaq. They have the weapons and they are more talented than the Nuggets, not to mention deeper. And, REALLY, don't we all want to see a Kobe/LeBron finals? That is if Cleveland can get by Orlando which destryed The Celtics on their own floor in a 7th game. The was sooooooo sweet to see. The only thing better would have been to see tha Lakers do it but then it would have had an asterisk because of no Kevin G. So come on Nuggets. We have got something waiting for your butts!
