One of the standard plays the Bull's run now is a pick and roll with Rose and Gooden. The problem is that Gooden isn't a Bill Laimbeer or a Rasheed Wallace - he can't consistently knock down a jumper and so the other teams don't respect it. Is it too much of a stretch to have them try a pick and roll with Deng and Rose? Deng is the Bull's best mid-range jump shooter and he's been looking pretty lost on a lot of plays just standing in the corner. I haven't check stats, but I think Deng has probably already tried more 3 point shots this year than he did last year, and that's not his game.

Everybody has their issues with Hinrich, but there's no denying he played some nice 'D' on Nash. I like the Bulls going with an all offensive lineup, and make Noah and Thomas earn their minutes off the bench with consistent play. If they use (not starting) as an excuse for inconsistent play that's their problem. They had chances with major minutes, and basically sucked. If they play well enough and consistently, then they might deserve to start again, but only through consitently producing, not by using Rose handling the ball or Del negro's new 'system' as an excuse. Everybody wants these guys to succeed, but let's do it right the right way.

That's probably about as good as it gets from the Bulls. The thing is they need to bring it more consistently. A game like this should show the players that whenever they play as a team, instead of playing for their own agendas, they have a much better chance at success. And to guys like Gordon, the better the team plays, the better his chances are to score a nice contract form some team this off season.

Will the real Chicago Bulls please stand up? I think playing at home vs a team lacking good defense gives the Bulls a good chance for a W. Al B was right, Tabo Sef would do a better job against LeBron tonite than Kirk for the reason he mentioned.
