Otis,Bob and anybody else that will listen,
Dont have Hedo in a Magic uniform next year. Sign and trade may be the best option to bring in more help. I personally really think a trade with Portland would be to our benefit. They have a lot to offer us. I love Rudy Fernadex (way better than Courtney Lee) and Channing Frye would be a great young PF that can step out and shoot the ball (like a young Rasheed Wallace but not as tough but may get along better with Howard). If you cant make a sign/trade possible then let Hedo walk and bring in imediate help to win now. We need mentally tough characters that want to win now. We need to get rid of Lue, and Foyle. I really like JJ Redick coming off the bench as a shooting threat like an Eddie House type player but if you get Rudy Fernadez than never mind trade him (keep JJ if you can). It would be huge if you could wash the dirty plate clean and let Vasquez know we really would like to bring him over. I really like Marcus Williams as a back up point guard (strong mentally and a great shooter). Lot of option for the Magic to make some strong upgrades and a strong push for a title. Otis, now you have the core of the team with Howard, Lewis and Carter. Just add one more key player (PF) and a few quality players as back ups (Portland trade, Marcus Williams, Vasquez) and we will be set.

Suck it, Turk. Take your crappy skills somewhere else.

In the end, the Magic needed to get rid of Turk...this is a necessary evil to sign a legitimate Power Forward...and this will help Rashard thrive at his natural position (small forward)...look for his numbers to go up from last season. Forgetting financial reasons, the Magic cannot fit Turk, Lewis, and a power forward like Rasheed in the same lineup unless Turk plays SG and Rashard plays SF.
I was quietly hoping that the Magic would wait patiently to sign Dwayne Wade in 2010...imagine Wade and Howard together!!! Plus they are friends. Besides being in the same state, it kind of sparked my curiosity to see Wade watching from the stands so many Magic games.

Face it, the Magic would not have advanced if they faced a Celtics team with KG and Powe....even with a healthy Nelson...in order to be great, the Magic must bulk up in size and get a true tough proven power forward player.

Hedo can make the most money in Detroit by selling merch. Being the only Muslim player in the NBA, going to America's most populous Muslim city (Dearborne), he merch check could be bigger than his normal pay check.

I love Turk, but NO WAY I offer him that. Funny thing is...we all complain that Otis outbid himself when he signed R. Lewis...and he did. Now some of you all want him to do the same thing with Turk. Seriously, with all of the quality free agents out there, what do you really think Turk can get? I posed this list in another forum, but check out this list of free agents: Only 4 teams really have any money to spend this year....yet take a look at these Free Agents this year....no particular order: UNRESTRICTED: Hedo Turkoglu Shawn Marion Ron Artest Lamar Odom Ben Gordon Allen Iverson Rasheed Wallace Jason Kidd Andre Miller Drew Gooden Mike Bibby Trevor Ariza Flip Murray Grant Hill Zaza Pachulia RESTRICTED: Marcin Gortat David Lee Ramon Sessions Glen Davis Leon Powe Paul Millsap Charlie Villanueva Nate Robinson This list doesn't even included guys that can opt out if they so desire like: Carlos Boozer, Mehmet Okur & Al Harrington. Take into consideration that next years free agent crop is one of the best in history. If Turk gets a deal more than $8.75 million/year, I will eat my hat. Well, I don't actually own a hat, but I will go get one. Awesome post my friend. Way to break it down for the numbskulls.

No doubt we have a solid core but our bench will definitely be an issue! Wonder what OTIS has up his sleeves... We got absolutely NOBODY right now if Howard takes breather! With Gortat we never skipped a beat!
