the bulls need a big athletic 2 guard [ and sefalosha is not it!]like green, and a true post up scoring big man [jermaine o'neal] to win the east.gordon for green, and a package of duhon, gray, nocioni, smith and future draft picks should bring o'neal here.a line up of pf o'neal c wallace sf deng sg green pg hinrich with thomas, noah, curry, sefalosha,an d re-sign pj brown would put the bulls over the top in the east.

Although they're crying their eyes out at the Star Trib, Minny wins big with this one..they get a YOUNG Jefferson, a young talent in Green, some trade bait (Telfair), cap relief with Ratliff and Gomes works very hard.

Other than Garnett no one on the Celts plays D. They have no bench. Rondo can pass but can't shoot or defend. Kendrick Perkins? They got House, but as Dime Smack says he'll jack up treys all night with 19 seconds left on the shot clock.

The three musketerers are getting older. Allen and Pierce are going to miss games on account of injuries. Garnett has a lot of mileage on him. And as you say, there may not be enough basketballs.

I agree with you pacifictraveler..very well said. People in Minny dont know what they are getting in Jefferson. From what I remember, Al Jefferson played very well in a win over Minny last season, against who? Garnett..No, aint saying he is better but he is going to be REALLY GOOD...plus, you all thought that Minny was going to win a title? NAH..neither the Celtics..so its a good trade for both..

I think it was a good move of boston to try to win now, but i think the price was too high: first they trade a pg and the 5th choice in the draft for Ray Allen, and now a promising sg/sf (green), a potential All-star (jefferson), a good role player/maybe star (gomes), a once-promising pg (telfair), a big cap relief (ratlif), and 2 future first round picks, so that is 7 players for 1 who has maybe 5 years left in the tank.
Boston better kept a draft choice and a player, and maybe use those to trade for a really good pg, and use Rondo as backup.
I still think perkinks is a decent center, and tony allen could be a good bench player for sure (unless he has injury again), they only need a good pg and a big men from the bench

I'm very disappointed to see KG go. He is a Minnesota hero. The Wolves are sadly a boring team to watch and now, it will be worse. I hope the new players do something, anything. To me, it is very reminiscent of the Twins trading Rod Carew. My heart was broken then, as it is now.
I feel your pain, but what will you do when Santana leaves?

I agree where will celtics be in 5 years in the lottery whinning agains for another 20 plus years.Right now celtics need atleast 5 players who can play not the crap they have now. If you could give me 5 players that celtics will have on the floor when the big 3 are on the bench. Well it looks like a ndbl team. Cletics winning the east over Bulls pistons heat cavs nets will be very hard very hard

Jefferson is a better prospect than Tyrus Thomas or Noah, so I can't see how the Chicago offer is better. Gomes is a solid young guy and Green is another young guy who hasn't done much yet but still is a decent prospect.
maybe you need to watch the games rather than espn jefferson gets atleast 20 more minutes a game and i dont think jefferson had such an impact when he came into nba his first year as thomas did. In fact has jeffereson ever been to play-offs? Thomas is way ahead by the time jefferson reaches the west finals thomas will probably have 3 rings

bully6chicago you obviously have no kind of basketball knowledge or understanding of the game. gordon has peaked and won't grow anymore in height or in his skills. outside of his rookie season he has continued his demonstration of a low basketball iq and the most costly and knuckleheaded turnovers in crunch time. green is much taller, far better a defender, and a superior athlete who is going to be an all-star guard with in 2 years. i have seen 90% of the bulls games datimg back to the first championships.i know talent, and i know a geek who has no idea how to judge talent or potential in athletics. mississippi destination address....PLEASE!

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Libra

You're in an idealistic mood today and only want to see the best in other people. This is typical Libran behaviour, because you aren't good at facing up to harsh reality at the best of times. Today, you're ready to believe that someone is a candidate for sainthood or that they're the best thing that's ever happened to you, regardless of whether it's true or not.
