Bulls win 3rd straight, sweep season series with Suns

Full story: Chicago Tribune

The first season sweep of Phoenix since 1996-97 and first three-game winning streak since April 2007 surely isn't embarrassing.

Why the heck did Rose sit the last 6 1/2 minutes? He was scoring at will. He looked pissed at the end of the game, and he should have been.

That three pointer Gordon threw in with Richardson in his face at the end of Phoenix' last run just under 4 minutes has to be the most selfish play in all basketballdom.

If Pax were a real manager, he would have traded Gordon for Lebron a long time ago.

VDN leaving Gordon on the floor after that play just underlines why he should be fired and Larry Hughes installed as a player coach.

I think that was Grant Hill that was guarding him on that play. I hope you are kidding about Hughes. That is exactly the type of shot Hughes would endorse. THose would be the only shots you would see all game if Hughes called the plays.

See people, this is why you don't smoke and post.
Great job of the Bulls getting 3 wins in a row in a season and half. Hope they can keep this up Tuesday against Houston.

This is why I try not to complain about the players. They have talent. As a team they're just missing some key pieces. They rose above it tonight the way they used to under Skiles. Maybe this win will fire them up.

Number one: Rose was injured after the dunk with 6 mins left in 4th quarter. He has a sprain ankle, so that why he stayed out.

Number two: Gordon hit that 3pt with Grant in his face, because he had only 2 seconds left on the shot clock and it wasn't his fault because Deng or Noc passed him the ball back with only 5 seconds left on shot clock. What the heck was he supposed to do??

Tiff: I can't wait till Larry is gone, then you can go another team site and talk to them.

I haven't seen the game yet, but if Gordon had a good game, it's his first in a long, long time...
As I told you guys long ago, once the Trifecta of Terror --Hughes, Gooden and Gordon--are out of the way, the Bulls will return to being a good basketball team.

Hughes and Gooden didn't play, so they are 2/3 of the way there.
The downside is, they can't be getting too many supposedly good nites from Gordon because they need to get rid of his selfish ass real quick.

here to help

First they only beat the woeful Clippers. Next, they only beat the worst team in the league, Kings. Now they beat a healthy Suns team, and looked pretty good doing it, but still they get hated on. Gordon played well and within the team. Appreciate the 3rd win in a row.

yeah steverino, checked out abreu's fielding stats for you. abreu - last season 2 errors in 150 games played in rf. bradley 3 errors in 19 games played in rf. check out google, it's an interesting concept. soriano also had worse fielding stats then abreu.

Why are we still talking about Hughes? He's been on the decline since his days with the Wizards. Tiffany look at the success the Cavs have had since they departed from Hughes. Look, he going to his 4th team for a reason. Anyways, that's enough about Hughes. Go Bulls!

Mrs. Tiffany Hughes. This Larry stuff is not funny any more. Larry Hughes is the most selfish player in the nba and all he cares about is his stats and his check. The only reason he was brought to Chicago was to get rid of Ben Wallace and to get Drew Gooden. If I was his coach I would'nt of played him at all last year or this year. He should be gone immediately before his selfishness and ignorance winfects the rest of the bulls like Derrick Rose. If he is not traded before Feb 19, he will be sent home immediately by the Bulls and be with you. If he would of played even 10 minutes tonight, the Bulls would of lost.

The rumour mill is especially active, and interesting tales are coming at you from all sides. Don't believe everything you hear: there are people who will start gossip to further their own aims and you don't want to help them unwittingly. Similarly, don't reveal too much of yourself to those who you don't know intimately - keep your own counsel.
