I think that the U.S. team has all the weapons in its armory, but then again the pieces should all fall together. U.S. has still got Argentina and Spain, two of the giants of the ball game. If defense is hard to learn by the American team, which it had done very well in the exhibition games as a cohesive unit, then the offense should also complement the defense. Since I am a big Lakers fan and have been watching Kobe and the Lakers for the past 10 seasons, offense is no big deal, but defense, only few players play good in the league. Kobe is the quintessential player and LBJ and DW should all play superb defense to ward off any challenge from the opponents. U.S. team is blessed with shooting abilities, fast breaks and the hot 3 point shooting of Redd, Deron and others. There is nobody who can't shoot the ball well in the American team. Dwight, Bosch and Tayshaun should take care of the offensive rebounding and we can all enjoy the slam dunks of Kobe, LBJ, Wade and company. No other team has got such an outstanding lineup of point guards like Jason Kidd, Chris Paul, and Deron Williams of the U.S. team. I wish the very best to the U.S. Basketball team and I believe that they can bring home the gold medal. Great job coach 'K', and hats-off to your superb coaching crew.

If Paul Pierce says he's the best player in the world why isn't he on the best team in the world?...TEAM USA! Also...where's Shaq & KG? Kobe goes for the Gold w/o those bums.
How's that taste Shaq?
