Actually the last time Argentina and USA played was the FIBA americas tournament. America romped Argentina.

Considering Basketball isn't a sport that is worshipped here in Australia like it is in America, i'm sure you could give the Aussies a little more credit for actually getting through to the quarter-finals. Yes, the USA were a better team on the night, but I think the comments that entailed "survival in the outback" were a little over the top.
