Glad to see SV staying in LA. Why anyone would ever think of playing in Russia when the NBA is the ultimate basketball league on the planet is beyond me. Of course, why someone that had all their medical bills paid and taken care of by the Lakers would cut tail and go sign with ANYONE, much less the Warry-whores is still a question to me too. Oh well, while I loved Turiaf, as far as back Gonzaga U... SV has made tremendous strides in the last couple of years, and if he can learn to be a better defender we will be playing some June ball again next year. Laker fan for 41 years now boys... Beat LA... ain't no way!!!

The machine is weak boston exposed his fake hustle defense lakers made another error ala walton and that other soft european rodmanovic.

Was he really worth the money? Seems to me, the machine was out of order on many occasions. Too streaky for me.

we almost lost the gunslinger to a russian team? they lucked out that sasha likes l.a. and that kobe was lobbying for him; wouldn't be the same without him. now, someone just has to tell jackson and his coaching staff to guard the three point shots of the OTHER teams! a toast to sasha .... SWIIISSH BABY!!

There was a reason he did not draw any interest from other NBA teams. He's just another slow European who can't defend. Guards around the league know they can drive past him to the basket. Ray Allen and Iverson ate him up during the season and playoffs. Gotta hand it to him though- getting 5 mil. a year is success. The other lakers ought to be pounding on Buss's door and saying "If you got that kind of money to throw around, how about throwing some of it my way?"

Well I can top that how about luke walton, hes been out of order basically his whole career, brick hands brown was getting 10 million a year from the lakers, rad man at least did something and sasha did more than walton and rad combine IMO.

Any of you guys worried that we lost ronny and mitch seems fine with the roster as it is now that bynum is back? See I just hope phil doesnt start to think well we are some what thin on the back up big man and just benches pau or bynum cause that would really suck and the worst thing is I wouldn't be surprised to see phil do that, he tried to start kwame over bynum last season!
