Well, Kobe "Rat Faced Rapist" Bryant and the Euro Trash Weenies proved they had no right being in the Finals....Pierce playing with one leg, Perkins playing with 1 arm, Allen playing with no sleep...I'm still shocked the Fakers won 2 games..

The Lakers played with poise. The Celtics showed that they have no class. Having such a big lead, Rivers kept his Celtics attacking in an attempt to run up the score. Thats just classless, and its exactly why no one wants to live in Boston. Its indicative of Bostonians.

The Lakers didn't look poised, they looked like s***. They played lazy and lifeless, I guess they figured out who the better team was. And do you think the Celtics should have just stopped playing to make the Lakers feel alittle better. To be honest, I think that would have been more insulting for them.
And I'm positive you know NOTHING about Boston or Bostonians. I know people in LA, been to LA and MOST of the people I know there (not all) are either a.) drug addicts or b.) wannabes.
NOBODY'S PERFECT! But coming from LA, you have no right to judge.

You mean they should have shut it down like the Lakers did in Game 4, with their 24 point lead, and end up LOSING the game?!!

I didn't see any attempt to sink a basket in the last minute of the game by the Celts. They gave the ball up as their 24 shot clock ran down.

You whiney little bitch!

What a douche...

No, I mean they should have allowed their opponents to bow out gracefully! Your responses are exactly what I expect from Bostonians blogging on an LA News website.
"I didn't see any attempt to sink a basket in the last minute of the game by the Celts. They gave the ball up as their 24 shot clock ran down."
So you didn't see Ray Allen, Eddie House shooting 3-pointers with mere minutes left in the game with a 30+ point lead.
Of course you wouldn't understand. Thats why no one liked New England because they would run the score up even when they were already blowing out their opponent. You just don't get it!

Alison, I've spent a few months in Boston & can guage Bostonians better than just reading websites like most of the people who blog here. The Celtics were better last night, but they still didn't end it with Class, PERIOD!!!!

Hey Moron... The last 3 minutes where played by all bench players. What do you want them to do, miss shots on purpose? That would be a greater insult. And in case you missed it, the Lakers cut a 24 point lead to 2 points in the 4th quarter of game 2. Lesson learned. Never back off until it is 100% in your hands. That is exactly what the Celtics did.

Do you people know sports history or what?

Hello Rude People, watch it with the name calling! I'm sure your mothers raised you better than that!

You are missing the point as well! Are you telling me that your gut feeling didn't tell you that most of what happened in the final minutes of the game was not overkill? Get real! Thats not becoming of a Championship team, Point Blank! We should just agree to disagree! If you know your sports history then deep down, you know exactly what Im talking about...

Easy for me to say, being a Celtics fan, but
I think that we should all be glad this rivalry is
rekindled. Let's stop being hateful!
Celtics fans-revel in the victory, Lakers fans, there is always next year. This is sports that we watch for fun, if you are so emotionally invested that you hate an entire region of the country, take a time out and relax.

Enjoy it while you can, Celtic weenies.

Youthful Lakers will be kicking butt in the NBA for years to come while your Allen, Garnett will be checking out the AARP brochure.

What's the deal with all these Celtic weenies on LA newspaper?? Guess they don't have a real paper to post in Boston, eh??

The lakers looked broken? Ah, excuse me, they looked like pathetic losers, starting off with that ego maniac ball hogger aka Kobe. And Phil Jackson, where was all the Zen? What a bunch of sorry ass losers that gave up before they even tried!
You think next year they will be better? Here's a suggestion: I have a great idea about changes for next year. Why dont we trade ALL the lakers, including Kobe, send them all to Boston, and lets take all the Boston players and have them play in LA. I bet next year we'd win for sure!!!

Its really funny how all of these boston low lifes feel they are getting something by talking internet nonsense. What did you losers have to do with the celts winning??? Nothing, so quit taking credit. I just wish you punks would talk some crap in person so i could slap you down like the weak little sissies you are. Boston is a joke of a city, full of cowardly internet tough guys.
