Poised Orlando Magic guard Courtney Lee tears off rookie label
For the most part, all the joking has ceased around Courtney Lee. It's all started to subside: the constant hazing, endless pranks and having to run errands for teammates.

Lee is really doing great thing for Orlando...
He gave Ray Allen all he could handle in the last game.. The kid is good! and we will need his Good defense and Slashing offense in the Playoffs. |

Courtny Lee's contributions to this team has been overlooked by the "sports experts"/media guys, his success at the 2 guard has enable the magic to stick to their style of play.

I think that C Lee has way more to go. He has D-Wade skills. He just needs more time to develop and more confidence. That will come. We may see a star in the making during the playoffs with this kid. He is in a great situation, surrounded by all-stars who are unselfish and a good coach. My only hope is that he remembers that when it's time to re-up his contract. Go Magic. Bring the title home this year!

He needs to be keep being assertive in offense because he can shoot the 3 well, and on top drive well and shoot midrange Js which balances the Magic attack more so is even more important in some ways. He's pretty good in defense already, but only when he seems focused. He's looked unfocused and bad on D alot too, but otherwise he can become great at it with more work and focus.

CLee may be the best draft pick ever by the Magic. Not the best player ever drafted, but a solid player and potential future leader for this team. As the LT said above: Finally!

Courtney is definitely a keeper. I haven't been really following this league-wide, but how does he stack up in the rookie of the year race?

What can we say that wasn't already said? He is one of the best picks in a long time. At pick 22, he was steal.
If he continues to play well I can see him averaging about 12-15 ppg next season. If he continues to get confidence with the guys and gets consistent minutes, I'm fairly sure we will continue to have a winner for the future. |

CLee is a good product of a 4 year starter in college. He is mature and a quick learner. He is currently 5 or 6 on ROY (Only bcause he has not started enough games). His development will only enhance the Magic's chances at a Championship. The Magic will have 5 solid starters and a very good bench....That smells very good. GO MAGIC!!!!!!

I knew when we drafted him that the magic had finally made a good move in the draft since 04.Glad we didnt take Douglas-Roberts like alot of people wanted.

This year's Orlando Magic team looks very similar to last years Boston team. You have the big 3 in Howard, Lewis, and Turgolu, plus Rafer Alston is finding his role on the team much like Rondo did last year, and C. Lee is more athletic and better on defense than Posey, IMO. Orlando also has solid bench players like Pietrus, Gortat, AJ, and Redick. One thing Orlando has that Boston doesn't is a very young team. I hope Orlando decides to write the checks and keep this team together because they could be a dynasty, seriously.
