With Courtney Lee injured, J.J. Redick is ready to take charge ...

I am happy JJ had a good game. I hope he finally has more. If JJ can score enough points to balance either of the other two out then he will be a great help to the team. Here is another chance for him to shine. I hope he finally does it.

I agree Bob he finally got a break and game through beautifully.

I think his shot suffered becaused he focused so much on "D". Now, he's focusing on his shot again, and his "D" really is that bad. I mean he tries very hard, and makes his man play "D" on him.

I didn't even read the article, just the headline and got sick.

Unfortunately, I think Redick's career game was his last one.

If I'm wrong I'll be the first to admit it, but I don't think so and it makes me nervous thinking we have to rely on him.

Look, despite everyone saying "He just needs more minutes" ... this year he gotten significantly more minutes and played in more games than he ever has and his Player Efficency Rating has gone down.

Will the Magic run plays for JJ like most teams do for their shooting guards? The answer is no. The Magic don't do "sissy" stuff like set picks. They also don't dive for loose balls, block out or help on defense.

I am just hoping JJ can get out of Orlando.

JJ looked like a balanced focused pro, which is a big move in the right direction. He could have folded and no one would have been surprised. He's got the monkey off his back. Otis gave him the right encouragement "have some fun" it's been a long time since he has enjoyed playing. He's got the skill set and he looks like he's found his shot. Maybe, just maybe he will finally reach the potential and play like we all want him to. He was on fire for once.

They haven't announced it yet, but it will probably be Monday.

jj better do a lot of scoring to make up for the points he will give up ,,,hes either going to guard ray allen or ben gordon ( GOOD LUCK) im 99 percent sure game 1 will start monday at 8 ,,the houston los angeles game comes on 1030 monday they will need a game to come on at 8

They have announced that game 1 for the Magic is Monday. We'll find out tonight if it's in Boston or Chicago.

Er... vs Chicago or Boston. It will be in Orlando or Boston, obviously.

One thing I have noticed with JJ in ... he is one of the only guards on that team that can consistantly run the pick-and-roll. His D might suck at time but ball movement seems to be better when he's in there. If he starts getting the confidence back in his shot and ball movement is better, I think the Magic with put up with his weakness on defense (which has gotten better).

He was hanging around Ember night club last nite, didnt realize how short he is for NBA standards. He seemed like a good guy tho. Go Magic!
