It was only a matter time before Kareem Rush found the shooting touch that Indiana Pacers president Larry Bird envisioned when Bird signed Rush over the summer.

In his last game against the Wizards, Rush looked very comfortable out there. He has a quick release on his shot and had a very good game that night. His overall demeanor was that of a professional....he went out and did his job, without a lot of rah-rah and high fiving. The Pacers just might have someone they might want to re-sign after this year.

SO nice that this kid seemingly has his head on straight now. Don't know what really happened before but he sure seems to be motivated and working hard.
Great job Kareem!!

This would be huge for the Pacers if he can continue his hot shooting and becoming more and more comfortable with the offense. I think you will continue to see a lot of improvement from a lot of players as the season goes on and they get comfortable with the offense and the other players.

Obviously with this team and the whole league in general injuries occur. If it happens this year, I see many guys that can step up and jump in there and contribute. People talk about how often the Pacers seem to be injury prone and it hurts the teams progression, but what most dont usually admit is that we always have a "safe" player somewhere on the bench. Keep up the good work I know its been tough the last couple of years, but I have no problem saying I feel comfortable knowing how Bird and Walsh handle things. Hope you re-sign next year Kareem... don't RUSH to sign with another team.
