well, at least howard is an improvement over james when it comes to low post scoring, interior defense and rebounding. for that, plus howard's two year contract, we can be thankful. and perhaps he has a bit more humility than mike "what planet do you live on" james.
what i'm a little worried about now is that the wolves - with garnett, blount, howard, smith, madsen, and a probable big guy with their #7 pick - will think that they are set with bigs. so then the 41st pick will roll around, and instead of choosing another potentially viable big like chris richards or glen davis, they will instead select some 6-4, 173 lbs shooter from belarussya - a poor man's reincarnation of gundars vetra. the way i see it, with the pathetic rebounding and inside d that this team has, we should stock up on big guys.
unless, of course, conley is still available at 7 and then we got a whole other set of issues.

People, this is just the first thing the wolves have done. He will help the wolves if for no other reason than chemistry and a veteran presence. Other deals will be made. But with Mike James gone, we've already got some chemistry issues gone. He and Garnett never got along well, and James never liked his role on the team. There is benefit to this trade for both sides.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Aries

You're idealistic and impressionable today, and want to see the best in everyone. Look straight past their faults, pretending they aren't there; concentrate on their good points instead. If a new relationship gets off the ground now it will always be characterized by an aura of romance and fantasy, and a slightly otherworldly quality.
