I Just Would like to thank wonderful J. Paxson for letting Miami STEAL Beasley. Wow what a F Up that will turn out to be. Rose is just average and Beaz has potential to be Great. Whoopedie Dooo he got a hometown boy--- always go for talent!!! Noah is Anderson Varejao--i.e. an energetic BACKUP!! Gordon is streaky garbage!! UNREAL!! To Get a golden opportunity to draft a once every ten years type of talent and then draft an over hyped guard---14pts a game 5 turnover a handful of assists--wow--mediocre at best. Chris Paul--D. Williams? DREAM ON

Summer league is hardly indicative of what is to come. I saw Tyson Chandler and Eddie Curry play years ago and Chandler looked awful at the begin.
He turned out ok.

Tyson Chandler is a direct result of Chris Paul. Can't do it on his own. You know that.---Eddie Curry is just a waste of space. I'm not referring to summer league-- College-- Beasley is a beast. I just feel like Hinrich is just as good as Rose will be and if they had Beasley they would only be maybe one piece away with Deng, Beasley, Gordon, Hinrich. Now a million guards? Makes absolutely no sense. Bulls needed a leader--Rose is soft spoken-- not a leader.

D-Rose is a beast. Way to get overexcited about a summer league game. I would much rather have a guy who has the ball in his hands all the time. He will make guys like deng and nocioni look like studs.

the learning curve for point is much steeper. beasley will be like a barkley. great scorer not so great defense. he will be a big boost for the heat if wade can come back strong. rose will also be a great player but from point it will take longer. he will need more talent around him for the bulls to make it to the finals someday.especially in the frontcourt. chris paul couldn't get thomas to play hard or noah stronger,or gordon the ability to drive to the basket. the bulls need better talent. rose is a good start.

rose and beasley are like d. williams and c. paul. I know they were both pg which was making it easy to make a comparison. Ok, Beasley is a much more spectacular player, on the other hand Rose is a leader and team player no matter what people say. Jerry Sloan was heavily criticized when Utah drafted Williams but look at the player he's become and look at the contrubition he's making.

D-Wade is a beast but he can't stay healthy. D-Rose is a bigger Chris Paul. I agree that Ben Gordon sucks - he overdribbles the ball and can't guard anyone. Joakim Noah has the ugliest jumpshot in basketball. Thomas is like Tyson Chandler - both have limited games but Rose will throw him a ton of oops.

Here we go. Will this be known as the year the Bulls chose Sam Perkins ahead of that MJ guy? And what are all these top ranked drafts like Thomas and Noah doing not being able to guard the guy already? What are the predictions for Bulls wins this year 40-something? Concerned as usual.

Everyone does realize that 3/5 of our starting lineup was playing and our Head Coach was coaching while getting blown out by the Heats summer league team right??? I would just like to thank Stand Pax for bringing everyone back to "Develop" I really am looking forward to watching more of what I saw last year with another rookie coach cause that was fun!!!

Shitty Football team and an unwatchable bulls team... Ugh!

To be honest this is what I expected from Rose early as all PG's struggle their first season. Don't look for imediate results as his numbers won't be much better than Hinrich's unless his offense is better than advertised. Scorers have a much easier transition to the NBA everyone knows that.

Just think who would you rather have now Chris Paul or Carmelo Anthony? Now you would say Paul rookie year you probably would have said Anthony.

But lets face it with a GM that is too incompetent to make a move Beasley would have been the better choice if you are not going to make any trades. The backcourt is going to get ugly fast if no trades are made and for some reason I think Paxson is that stupid to do it mostly cause he said so. So much for learning from mistakes huh...

Well it seems we're just writing to ourselves, and we are. But I like K. Heinrich's job. The man hustles both offensively and defensively. How did we get into this?
There have been a half-dozen (or more) very high picks in the last 8 years. Luol Deng is the best result so far, and lets give Ben some credit, when he heats up, he scores with the best of them. But why do the Bulls choose so many non-shooters? I played basketball with a passion through High School, and I could score, from 3-point range and drive the lane. These guys are professionals making millions of dollars. Why can't they put forth more results and go to the next level like a championship team? Well even though I live in tokyo now, I'm a Chicagoan born and bred athletic minded, soul-hearted person till my grave. I believe Illinois programs can match up to any in the good USA.
Come on Bulls and Jerry Reinsdorf, what does it take to choose a nucleus of hungry, willing to sacrifice to win bunch of millionaires? Is it just too much to ask in this day and age?
Go Bulls, someone like Nocioni take charge and show us the goods! Come on Noah, stuff that oponents ball in his face. Thomas, put that jumping ability to better use and really outrebound people at crucial times.

The Bulls would have never hired a black coach who never coached. Heck, they would never hire Scottie Pippen, who was a great player; but, if Scotty or Michael Jordan were white and wanted to coach, they would be coaching the Bull's; but, you got to be a white boy. Del Negro is a bust. The Bulls expect his experienced coaches to teach him how to be a coach on the JOb. Sort of like what white's call: Affirmative Action!

If Del Negro can't get Noah and Thomas to play better defense, the Bulls won't win as many games as they won last year.

It ain't the coach. I don't deny the justification of the last two entries, but the damn coach isn't going to make the plays. That's in the hunger and spirit of each player. That's why I love Ben Gordon. For all his misdribbles, the guys got guts and talent under pressure, and he knows how to put the ball through the hoop!
Its like Jack Nicklaus said about Tiger and golf, "When everything is said and done, there's a time when you have to get the ball in the hole!"
No genius coach will ever do that or help do that, I believe. They can communicate like the great PJ, and others black and white, but the players are the ones who have to put the ball through the hoop, more times than their scored upon. Its that simple. That's why the Celtics won. Not because of the coach, though Doc Rivers did a great job. That's why the Lakers lost, not because of the coach. And isn't it somewhat confusing why MJ hasn't succeeded in his work so far as an Exec.?
Scottie Pippen, bless his soul, and loved him to death as a player, could take over games on both sides of the ball, but a coach to inspire and keep cohesion?
Sorry, I have all these questions. But I would have chosen Beasely this year, and would have chosen the
Portland guy 2 years ago. Noah? Is the verdict still out, will it be out after his second year? I hope he puts it together.

Did Del Negro learn any defensive strategy from Popovich?

Bulls defense was pathetic.

Just very interested to see what the genius does with Hinrich. Marion is on the market. I think he would be a great fit with Rose. Why not offer Hinrich and Nocioni for Marion? I'm sure the heat would do it. Rose,Gordon,Deng, Marion T. Thomas would be a nice starting point.
