<quoted text>First off thanks Spicoli for sending the clip , I appreciate your time digging the archives...lol
Second, I am sure Hibbert will make some sort of impact but not to take thunder from your clip, a nice guy absolutely means nothing. He wasor is squeaky clean and thats great but it does not necessarily win you championships.
3rdly Many Pacer fans are very pissed of the slug team imagea and performance over the years, so naturally they will be all over Hibbert like a cheap suit.So the team all of sudden went from the slums of Calcutta to the palace gates of Saudi Arabia? time will tell my friend but lets not get too over our heads over clean image.
House cleaning isn't quite done there yet.
Well, right now as far as house cleaning goes for the Pacers they need to get rid of 4 guys. PG-Jamaal Tinsley (Pot head who carries a gun and is addicted to freshmen high school honey's at strip clubs), C-David Harrison (Pothead), G-Marquise Daniels (over priced, sucks and got in trouble at a strip club), SF-Shawnie Williams (constantly in trouble).

Next season, David Harrison will be a free agent. With the additions of Roy Hibbart, Nestarivic, and Josh McRoberts, he will probably not be re-signed by the Pacers. Unless we can trade Tinsley for some one with a shorter contract, Bird will prolly use some of JO's salary to buy out his contract and release him. Daniels and Williams only have one year remaining on their contracts so Williams might be traded for a draft pick and Daniels will probably play out the last year of his contract as a Pacer. So I look for the Pacers to be a year away from being an NBA title contender with high attendance.

Yea I reckon JO needed a change anyway. Perhaps this may help the Pacers. I always said if they don't replace Reggie in a hurry they are doomed, and guess what it happened. You have no leadership there, similar to us. With the sometimes exception to Bosh. You guys will be on a rise sooner or later.

Well, Brandon Rush said his goal is to become the next Reggie Miller. And that a good start since Reggie was the #11th pick (booed by Pacers fans) in 1987 and Brandon Rush (people would have rather seen Bayless) was the 13th pick.
Sounds similar to our first draft, They booed the heck out of Damon Stoudemire, and wanted Ed O'Bannon. hahaha where did Eddie go?lol

You need leadership before you can aspire to anything close to a championship run.
