I wish all you "fans" would just shut up and get behind the pacers and see how they play with out all the negative talk that goes on day after day. How would you like to go to work every day and all you here is thugs and other names people call you every day . I just wish the refs would call a foul on the so call superstars as they do on the other players. If they would quit paying these young kids all this money and just pay a base salary and see if they are worth all that money. Have it in their contracts if they get in trouble with the law,the team can cancel their contracts. Now shut up and enjoy the rest of the season.

How is the Murphy and Dunleavy trade working out for you guys. Dunleavy will score 25 pts, once every three weeks, and Murphy will get a double/double once every 2 weeks. Murphy is a power forward, the only problem he has is he has no power. Dunleavy is a shooting guard, the only issue with him is that he can't shoot.
Well said.....
unfortunately it sure looks that way. I hope by some miracle this all works out....

An interesting proposal--good luck getting anyone to sign to it. Sadly, I fear the rest of the season will be anything but enjoyable.

i hope tinsley, coach, larry and donnie all heard Reggies and Sir Charles comments about tinsley during halftime. They said he is fairly lazy, hasnt lived up to near what is potential is and likely will not. Cut his evil pimp self.

That a good thing. Now you can not see how poorly the Pacers are playing. What can we do to block out the score board?

Actually, I've got my renewal package here, and yes many seat prices have gone down. Especially in the upper level.

Just to put in another factor, they both are first and second year into their 90 million dollar contracts. They are your forever now, I don't think anyone is trading for them now. I was surprised you guys traded for them

Why did Carlisle stick with Dunleavy for so long last night? He played terrible. Isn't this basic coaching? If a guy isn't getting it done get him out of the game?

aaalllllhhhhhhhaaaaalllll right the Pacres lost to the Rockets last night so that's 1 down 16 more to go to get a gurentted lotto pick and the best shot they can get in the Oden sweepstakes!!!!!
And for the record that's 1 down 12 more to go for a long shot in the Oden sweepstakes
KEEP LOSSING PACERS!!!!!!!!! WE NEED A LOTTERY PICK!!!!!

Remember Dallas in their bad years. One or two good drafts and away you go. The Pacers have never really been a serious condender...even though we've had some good years. It's time for our (draft) luck to change. Maybe the lottery will come our way this year. Oden and Durant may not be the answer we need either. Make due with what we have and supplement it with a top round draft...and watch us rebound.
What about Texas A&M senior guard A.C. Law the 4th or that guard who killed IU on the court from UCLA in March Madness????????? Also to add to your comment I somuly think the only chance we have at getting back on track is a top 10 draft pick. Cause the best guard I see going outside the top 10 this year is that Taylor guy from Wisconsin and he can't shoot much better then Wacko Jacko or Dumbleavy who for the record needs to leavy off the Pacers.

The people that post on this article have no clue as to what to do to fix the Pacer's problem. I still turn the Pacers on because they are OUR team. The last 4 minutes of the game last night were hard to watch because they had stayed with the Rockets up till then. I really get tired of reading all the negative comments. I know we aren't winning, but firing everyone and starting over with Foster and Granger would not improve our winning percentage.
Yeah, but I know 2 college Guard Seniors who would

The only question now is: "Can the Pacers land a 1 > 10 lottery pick or does their pick go to Atlanta"??
Why, on earth, did they make the Harrington deal, to later trade him for a couple of "overpaid softies"???
It appears that the moronic Kevin McHale and Billy Knight now have competition for "worst GM in the NBA"!!!!
A Lottery pick would not go to Atlanta, The deal was Al Harrington for a draft pick outside the lottery. So mabey we could wait till we got good again and give Atlanta that pick. And for the record we already traded our second round pick away to Portland who gets it NO MATTER WHAT!!! But who cares we need a top 10 draft pick not a second rounder who would just get cutt like our last one did.

I could care less nieither one of them makes the team worst like Just Shoot Me Jackson did who I might add has about the same contract as Dunleavy. I'm all for them loosing, this years draft looks good, so much better then last years!!!!!!!!

I agree. And furthermore, if you guys hate the team and they suck so much, why do you waste your time watching them or take the time to write on this post (every day by the way)? Why do you care??? Pick another team and go. Who needs you? The Pacers will rebound from this fiasco that has been in the making for the past three years and they don't need "fans" like you around. Good riddance. Adios. See ya!!!
Personally I think thier just a guard away from getting good again or Greg Oden.

Well their both better then Just Shoot Me Jackson, but although Murphy and Diagu are both better then Jesicavicious and that other guy no one in the trade is as good as Harrington. BUT SHOOT ANYONE IN THE NBA IS BETTER THEN JUST SHOOT ME JACKSON, ALTHOUGH DUMBLEAVY CAN'T SHOOT HE STILL SHOOTS WWWWWAAAAAAAYYYY BETTER THEN THE GUN JACK!

this team (group of indivduals) are just too ugly to watch at this time. our only hope is to be lottery picks the next 2 years and get lucky.
Actually I think A good guard in like AC Law the 4th in the draft could get us back on track to title contender strength.

This is the last time that I will take time to comment about those sorry a-- Pacers. Whoever said that Walsh was genius, with a great basketball mind and supposedly knows basktball talent, must have been in an insane asylum. To the people who pay for expensive tickets and food to see a Pacer games you have the right to complain if a bad product is on the floor and they continue to get worse not better. Harrison turned out to be one of the worst draft picks, among many by the Pacers management. Lets not forget about Austin Crosier, who had one good year in the playoffs and Walsh decided to pay him all that money.I have always been a Pacers fan even when they were in the ABA,but now that Walsh, Bird and Carlisle have turned this franchise into pure garbage, I will spending my hard earned money going to see the Colts play. Even when the Colts were losing, they did made a effort to win.

What I find really amazing is that no one (including the Star writers) have made mention about Reggie Miller calling out Jamal Tinsley or Charles Barkley calling us the "Cincinnati Bengals of the NBA". I have been a Pacers fan for 30 years now and I don't intend to give up now, but somethings got to change. We all know Jamal is not the point guard we need to lead us into the next level and the trade for Dunleave and Murphy has left everyone looking around saying "who's going to score?" To the "Pacer Fans" saying if you don't like the team don't cheer for them, we don't need you...you are the same guys who are saying Oh you think the war in Iraq sucks...you are against the troops...BS. I wear my Pacers stuff with pride win or lose, and anybody who remembers the early years (Steve Stipanovich, Clark Kellog ring any bells?) this isn't too bad, but it could get worse without some decent ball players on the court. I don't want to part with JO, but a package deal of some higher priced players may be our only way out of this mess.

Personally I think what hurt the team the most were the losses of Anthony Johnson and Fred Jones.
