I thought we were trying to fight gang violence, but I guess we are insisting on paying the thugs millions to keep going!
It's not about being "fair-weather fans"--it's about demanding positive, moral behavior from people representing our city/state and being role models to our kids.

Actually now is the best time to buy stuff .... real cheap.... we are bound for the lottery pick for the next couple of years - most of these thuggies jokers will be out - eventually their contracts will run out, Bird will fly away, and Pacers will come back - then time to break out the 2008 circa mechandise in say around 2012

Larry is NOT responsible for the poor decisions the players make off the court.
No. He IS responsible for a certain ammount of what happens off the court. Bird says he feels as if he doesn't need to enforce a curfew, and look what happens. A girl says she gets raped at Marquis Daniels' home, and a suspect in a murder case is seen leaving Shawne William's house in a car registered to Williams. Bird can have control over those issues to a certain extent. What happened with Granger doesn't make him a bad person, he was playing basketball. Has Granger ever been in the news for anything other than how well he does in games? I don't think so.

I say keep Granger, Dunleavy, Murphy, Foster, and Diener. Get rid of the rest. Atleast those guys want to play and keep themselves clean of issues off the court.

Danny Granger is the ONLY Pacer that I would pay to see. Maybe Jeff Foster...Or Dunleavy (THIS YEAR). Seriously, if you have watched Granger, how can anybody rip him especially with the turmoil surrounding him? At least he demonstrates EFFORT night in and night out!! The only player NOT expendible on this roster is Granger.

What a bunch of crap! They could win 70 games and the fans wouldn't put up with this. When Jordan and Pippen and company were running the table on the rest of the league, they didn't have the time or the inclination to be bangers
Yeah Jordan wasn't being questioned about gambling....oops

Fire all pacer players, along with Management. Let the Simons start over or sell the francise, and take their losses as I no longer support the Pacers in any aspect. They waited to long to take any measure of responsibility

I think i might finaly be done ranting and raving about this mess of a so called team. I really feel sorry for those players who actually care about the game, Dunleavy, Grainger, and a couple of others. This is just a total embarrasment for our state, we are a known state for our great basketball programs, and then the pacers Gang comes into picture, what a disgrace, its almost like the owners, president and coaches are scared to do anything to these players. Like a real gang everyone lets them run the show with a minor slap on the hand for their bad behavior. Someone needs to step up and take control NOW.

What a CROCK concerned citizen. You earn the fans support. When Smitz, Miller et al. were around, this was a world class club. Now, it's a ghetto slum suckin' gangsta gang that deserves NO respect. You earn my respect. I don't give it just because these guys makes millions and wear a Pacers' uniform.

Heck, Granger didn't even commit a crime and was suspended??? Dang. Maybe if he would have had a gunfight downtown or harbored a murderer, or had a rape occur at his home or had possession of drus/stolen gun or had a bar fight with Dino and Fingers, then he wouldn't have even gotten a slap on the wrist. What was he thinking????????

Regardless of any other points you try to make, this might be one of the most contradicting things I've read in quite awhile. You're mad because they don't enforce a curfew, then cite 2 examples of trouble that happen AT THE PLAYERS' HOMES?

How can you honestly react like this because of the Granger suspension? Let me guess, you had nothing against Reggie when he was fighting with John Starks, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant or others. But Granger has an absolutely spot-free career for 3 years then throws one elbow and you want to hang him out to dry for it? You same idiotic "fans" used to immortalize players like Dale Davis for doing this kind of "dirty work" to give the team an edge. Talk about hypocrites.

This murder case didn't take place at Shawne's home. My point is that if they enforced a curfew, they wouldn't be running around with those types of people. Wow, I didn't think I needed to explain that.
