maybe the pacers would be more willing to behave if they knew the fans in the city where they play supported them more than just being fair weather fans...

Yea sure...I make the Pacers a deal. If they have nobody in the news for being involved in OR questioned OR linked to any sort of criminal activity AND get rid of anybody who has and I will buy tickets again. Until then... I have a rule, if I wouldn't let you into my home (Tinsley, Daniels, Harrison, and Williams) I am certainly not going to by tickets to support you and your lifestyle/habits. At least not when they make up such a large percentage of the team (28.5% of the team has been in trouble)!

Thanks 'concerned' and I'm glad that someone was brave enough to bring up this point. Support "Your" Indiana Pacers through thick and thin. Back when we had Reggie, I think that some of the fans got a little too used to winning and that's when it's easy to be a fan.
Step up Indy! Come out to Portland Oregon sometime and see how we support the blue and yellow @ the Rose Quarter when they play the Blazers. We support all Pacers past and present! GO PACERS!

Well said, IPS...
I really miss watching the Pacers but it's hard to support a team when so many players seem to have so little regard for decent behaviour and the example they are setting. I don't care if the team wins or loses, but when the players don't seem to care about the image of the team, it's hard to keep supporting them!

Danny Granger is the heart and soul of this franchise. The Pacers don't need the "support" of some of you previous posters who probably haven't attended a game in 20 years anyway. Stick to your "rules". Go Pacers!

WHY SHOULD I SUPPORT THE PACERS WHEN THEY DON'T SUPPORT THEMSELVES? When they quit acting like thugs and play the game with heart and soul like Reggie and others use too then maybe. Win or lose I have been a fan but they are just a bunch of thugs now and don't respect their fans so why should we respect them. Someone has to step up and say enough is enough.

For anyone who's trying to bash Granger over this, this is nothing like any of the other "incidents" involving the Pacers recently. This was not even an altercation - it happened on a screen play and Danny's elbow caught Nocioni in the face. It'd be nice if the Star actually gave some more details, rather than leave it vague and open-ended... letting readers assume that this happened in some kind of altercation. But would you expect anything less?
Besides, I think it's good to see Danny developing a bit of a mean streak. All the great players have it, including Jordan and Reggie. Don't you all remember Reggie tackling Kobe back in the day, for mouthing off? In this case, Nocioni is known to be the kind of player to do things to get under peoples' skin. In the video you can see him hip-check granger off of the screen (with no foul), so Danny throws his elbow out there to make sure Noc' thinks twice before getting in his jersey again. That's just physical basketball and if that's worth a 1-game suspension then so be it.

I've gotta go with Adam here...besides, the NBA isn't going to cut the Pacers any slack for something like that anyway.

It's time for Donnie Walsh and the Simons to WAKE UP and realize The Pacers had NONE of "these problems" until Larry Bird started making the player decisions!!!! Want to "clean up" the Pacer? FIRE Larry Bird for starters!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot possibly understand how anyone can support this team. They are getting be seiously worse than the Cincinnati bengals. How can you support someone who cares about no one except for themselves and how much fun they can have with all of their money. They dont deserve to be in the league. It is about time the owners president whoever it takes to seriously take action agains these thugs. I dont think there is anything wrong with granger he is probably just frustrated noone on the team gives a flying #@$*. If they dont start respecting themselves noone will, it truly is a sad situation.

Oh also Bird said he didnt want to enforce a curfew on his team... I believe if these thugs want to act like children they should be treated like children. Step up and do your freakin job Bird. Take charge of these wild houligans.

Do any of you people actually take the time to do a little research before posting your ignorant drivel? This has nothing to do with "thug" behavior or anything else - this was strictly basketball. If you think this constitutes "thug" behavior then Reggie Miller was as big of a thug as anyone.
