Pacers' inside game flops without O'Neal

O'Brien can spew all he wants. Truth of the matter is even the fans have been wondering about his "inconsistent rotations" since very early in the season. And Friday night's l;oss to Houston, when he went with his slow lineup of Foster, Murphy, Diener and Dun when Williams was lighting it up, told this Pacer fan that either O'B doesn't care to win or favors a losing lineup.
It's not "inconsistent rotations" as much as it's inept coaching. Go with the hot hand and put aside your personal crap! We had enough of that with the Carlisle regime.

JO being out of the line-up has absolutely nothing to do with the losses. JO is the softest inside player in the league, so even if he were in there, it wouldn't matter. When has JO ever made a big difference inside? JO would make a nice complimentary player for a team that was already stacked with stars. But, to carry the weight of a team...now way!

We thought Jim O'Brien would be the answer to coach this team. The truth is the best thing for the Pacers is for Jermaine O' Neal to opt out of his contract and save us $22 million. Get some cap relief and begin to rebuild this team.
By the way, Ike Diogu remaining on the bench is not how this is done.
Marquis Daniels getting limited minutes isn't it either. Come on, Larry Bird blow up the team and start over.
Pacer fans would much rather watch the effort by the team without O'Neal. His best days are behind him.

It's J.O.'s job to be ready to play. As far as I'm concerned, the rest of the team has been heroic in playing as well as they have. They ought to be getting beat by 30 on a regular basis. Not many teams could play this well without their starting C and PG. Also, I give the coach some credit for them keeping it respectable.

The Pacers' flopping has absolutely nothing to do with JO. They actually play better when he isn't in the game. Give me a break! JO is a selfish player and he hinders the other players. Trade him? Who wants him? He has no stock and absolutely no worth. I was at the game on Friday and they played better than I had seen in a long time. They did a great job of containing Yao Ming.

The fight in Detroit destroyed the nba. The Pacers can go to another city. Would it hurt the Indiana economy? NO! Just like the Colts moving would not. As for JO, what a baby. He is burnt out and washed up. Trade him for a box of donuts.

You didn't look close enough, the Gigantic Hole is still sitting on the bench, Jermaine, and their game hasn't been worse it has been better since HE has been out. Every player has had doubles and some double doubles and that doesn't happen when Jermaine is there. HE won't allow it. He is a ball hog and an egotistical FOOL! Get rid of Jermaine, we don't need a bench warmer, we need someone who wants to play ball and be a TEAMMATE, not someone who wants to be a ONE MAN freak show. If HE was a tenth as good as HE thinks he is we wouldn't need anyone else. Just Jermaine. He is over, get rid of him, get someone new.

You have the team brain washed or at least you think you have, into thinking they can't do it without Jermaine. You are sooooo wrong, he is done, stick a fork in him and take him out of the pan and throw him out to the dogs. I am not too sure the dogs would even want him.

I am sure Jermaine is probably a good person, I am NOT trying to put him down personally, just his ball playing. I am NOT racists and I hate racists remarks, but thank God for OUR Caucasion Boys, if it weren't for them we wouldn't have a team that is consistent. At least they aren't in jail or barroom fights or shootings or whatever. So quit being racists and be thankful we have someone to play ball.

I was sincere when I said I am grateful for Our Caucausion Men, but I am also grateful for, Danny Granger, Jamaal Tinsley, etc. Jermaine is the only one, and color has nothing to do with that, I wish was gone to another team or he could retire. If he can't retire, he has been very foolish, not saving money to live on the rest of his life.

Jermaine is not the key. Evidence is in the games that the Pacers have lost with him. The coaching is lousy. O'Brien coachinhg style is something like a movie of past years glory. He needs to give fresh legs a chance & the little used new players a chance to prove themselves in the stretch. He says that he is going with the veteran players who are not hitting for their experience. Well he can save that philosopy for the playoff. The run and gun when you're open is not working. Swing the ball for poise and accuracy What is he waiting for?

Seariously, where have I been? I would have watched at least 0 games had I known the Pacers had started their season.

Have you ever heard of crashing the boards? Or maybe following your shot?
How about when you set a play up, when you have the ball out of bounds you try to get the ball near the basket for an easy two? Or if you need a three
and you've got the ball out of bounds, setting up a play to get the ball to your best tree point shooter and maybe having others near the basket for a rebound? Am I thinking wrong?

Just began flopping? This fish is not buying that whopper of a tale! Pacers have been floundering all season; continued from the previous season. These fish stink - on and off the court. Can't find anything anywhere here to get proud about; just shame that they are connected to the name of Indianapolis.

J.O. isn't going to opt out of his contract. We are stuck with him for the next two years. With his consistent injuries, he is really just damaged goods. No other team is going to offer him more than a one or two year contract, an NOBODY is going to offer him more than he is getting right now as a free agent. So he makes the most money sitting right were he is, and he is here for the duration...

Remember at the beginning of the season, he said he was in the best shape that he had been in years. His knee was "great" and he was looking forward to playing all 82 games. Where is he now, half way thru the season? Answer, on the bench, maybe for the rest of the season. Sorry, but his body can't take the beating the NBA season demands, even when he starts healthy.

Watching him shuffle back the floor when the rest of the team is off and running leaves a hole in our offense and defense that hurts us on every posession.

Time for J.O. to go, but relisticially, we will have to pay, in terms of draft pics or giving up other good players to make a trade. Either that or wait two years for his contract to expire and say thanks, and goodbye...
