Did this seriously happen? I'm done. I'm done with Pacers basketball. I cant believe the Simons just let this happen. We trade a potential All NBA teamer who fell in our laps for a role player who wont even start and 2 CBA caliber players. I'm going to puke now. I cant believe this is gunna stand. Someone needs to step in and stop this. This is unbelievable. Anyone that thinks this was a good deal is F'ing insane. Larry Bird just killed our future. Oh and great pick with 17th pick. I'm sure Hibbert ( the slowest player in the draft ) will fit in real well with our new super neato uptempo offense. MY God. When average fans can run a pro team better then the guys getting paid millions to do it, something is definetly wrong. I just cant believe the Simons let this happen. This is an embarressment. I'll be looking for a new team to root for. I cant believe i'm saying that, but i cant do this anymore. 20 years i've been a fan and this is how we get repaid for all the heart we've poured into this team. You trade one of the top 4 players in the draft for a role player a career back up at best and a local high school star. Thanks Simons. But no thanks. I'll root for someone else now. I already dont go to the game anymore, so its not like traveling would be an issue. Thanks. Bye.

Happy to cut that one legged wonder and pick up a bunch of young talent to revitalize the roster,w / Danny Granger and other young players, we can start over! That's what Bird's doing! Bryce i am with you J O might be young but he has old legs that are jury prone, larry bird i thought had a great draft day,now all he has to do is move tinsley, daniels, williams and get some veteran free agents to go along with the youth and in 3 yrs we will be back up near the top of the league, it is not going to happen over night, but we had to start somewhere. Way to go larry.

Well who are you talking about, Bayless is definetly not better than T J Ford and in a couple of years Josh Mcroberts will be good also, do not talk in riddles, say what you mean, than people will not have to second guess you

If ignorance was an alley, Shawn would be a boulevard. Great JOB, Bird and front office. You took a bold move to clear the way for young and growing talent and got rid of some declining, risky players who stood in the way of growth. The Simons should be proud. The key is now a development program which includes accountability for off of the court behaviour to secure our future. Bonuses should be attached to behaviour clause in their contract.

I don't like this Brandon Rush trade one bit at all. The Pacers now have a 17 man roster counting everyone from last season. They also had the biggest steal in the draft at the guard position and quite possible next to maybe Brook Lopez the biggest steal in the entire draft and they let him slip away!!!!!!!!!!

Jarryd Bayless was clearly the second best PG in the draft. He never did anything illegal and he said "I'm a very hard worker" "I bring allot to the table" "I have no problem at all playing PG" "The Pacers are a great organization" "I will stay out of trouble"!!!!!!!!!!

WHY THE HELL WOULD THE PACERS (A TEAM OF THUGS) WANNA LET A STEAL LIKE THAT GO!!!!!!!!!!

STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!!!!!!!!!

BIRD YOU SUCK ASS FOR LETTING BAYLESS GO!!!!!!!!!!

OK, first off you are right one the money on Jarryd Bayless on my mock draft I had him going second to Miami and on most of the draft boards I've looked at had Bayless going higher then Eric Gordon and Russel Westbrook. That trade with Portland clearly should have been IKE DIAGU FOR JARRET JACK!!!!!!!!!!

But I don not agree with you on the JO trade. Lets just face the facts JO had to go. He was way over payed, always injured, didn't wanna play for the Pacers anymore, aging, and I thought Troy Murphy last season did a good job filling in for JO as his replacement. Then after seeing an article in the Indy star Bob Kravitz wrote saying that the only people form the Pacers any team in the NBA would want is "Danny Granger and Danny Granger". I'm amazed we even got anything for JO. Also I think Roy Hibbart (the tallest player in the draft and best C at defense) is going to be good in the NBA him Bayless, and Gordon are clearly the sleepers in this draft.

And on my final note, if Ford can stay healthy. I think him and J Jack will be big time future contributers to the Pacers in the near future. And I like the Eric Roberts pick up he will be a star in the NBA some day. But I will say this, NO ONE THE PACERS GOT ON DRAFT DAY WILL EVER BE AS GOOD AN NBA PLAYER AS BAYLESS!!!!!!!!!!

Then why the hell did you mention Roy Hibbart. He had nothing to do with the Portland trade. He is involved in the JO trade. So there for you did say something about that trade, BUT NOT JO OR THE OTHER 3 VET'S INVOLVED IN THE TRADE. Also don't forget that Diagu was involved in that Portland trade as well.

Blah blah blah... the pacers have sucked for several years. I thought they did ok when Larry Bird was coaching. Now they suck. I'm sure when they need a new stadium again they will have a couple good seasons to justify it.

LMFAO!!! The Pacers suck, Jamal Tinsley sucks, they had the lowest attendance in the NBA last season (they are begging me to be season ticket holder again) and they have significantly cut their season ticket price to try and woo me.

I am going back to being a Pistons fan. Yes, their coach is shitty and Larry Brown took Rick Carlisle's team to the finals in '04. At least they are good, fun to watch and have a chance at winning something. So long suck town!!!
