O'Brien expects O'Neal to remain a Pacer

Bottom line is the Pacer's will not be involved in any trades because no one wants our thugs.
The Pacers have hit an all time low for me and OBrien wasn't, isn't the best coach for this team. |

Bottom line is the Pacers are screwed when it comes to trades. No one wants to come to Indiana, and Indiana has ZERO trade bait. This hole Bird has gotten us in will take years to dig out of.

What mindless drivel! O'Neal is a person of the highest quality as is Danny Granger, Jeff Foster, Travis Diener, Mike Dunleavy, Troy Murphy, Ike Diagu, Andre Owens, and Kareem Rush. What have you ever done for anyone except throw the thug word around as if that made your pathetic life any better than the loser you are. |

For you to say that O'neal is a high quality person like Danny Granger and others is absurd J.O won't even take a picture with a 9 year old kid who won a contest to get his picture taken with their favorite Pacer....But Danny Granger had no problem doing it! J.O= classless Granger= good person |
Kinda guilty of what you are saying to this guy, huh? He might not know they are thugs but how do you know what this person has done for the community or how his life is? Hypocrite. Want to apologize for these losers more? Make sense next time. |

"When he comes back, we expect him to be full go. There's nothing that our people have seen that it's a long-term problem,"
YOUR PEOPLE ALSO SAID THE SAME THING ABOUT JONATHON BENDER!!!!!!!!!! |
|

Perhaps Obrien doesnt want to trade Oneal because they are both Irish????? And St. Patricks Day is coming up and thats his drinking buddy...lol.

I'm afraid that OBrien was the only person that would take the job. |

Have an all white team!

As Dilbert would say "we're doomed...."
Nobody wants to pay $7 million dollars a year for a player who is constantly on the bench with bad (fill in the blank)____ Note MULTIPLE CHOICE TRICK QUESTION!!!!! a.- knee, b.- hamstring, c.- achilles tendon, d.- ankle e.- any or all of the above Not sure? well actually it is easy, the answer is e any or all of the above |

JO may be a great/good/exceptional individual, and that's great.
But on the court, he helps the Pacers about as much as I do.(When he's not injured. Then I help more for real.) He should have been traded with Artest years ago to leverage the best possible return of either top talent or draft picks. Instead, Larry Legend stood around changing Artest's diapers, watching JO get hurt every other week, and bailing people out of jail. Now we're stuck with this "Titanic" of a team in the NBA. There ARE some quality players on this team. Unfortunately, they have been drowned because of the lack of lifeboats available. Nearly a laughing-stock quality organization that was once thought of extremely well. Nothing in sight ahead of us but more icebergs. |

Who cares. The pacers are history since Reggie Left. A bunch of losers who just want to party, get into trouble with the law and then say they are sorry, until the next party. The city could lose the team and it would not make a bit of difference to most of the indy folks.

J.O. Sucks. Get rid off his injury prone a**. Trade him for a second round pick in the 2013 draft.
|
|
|
You must be talking about JT, because JO costs $19 MILLION, without playing 80% of a season for the past 3+ seasons.
|
|
It didn't take long for someone to say the exact words I am here... JO is nothing compaired to Danny when it comes to a quality person. Danny deserves to play for a better team. |
|
Heck I say trade him and give a second round pick in the 2013 draft just for someone else to take him. |
|
|
Does Pacer management know what they are doing? They are out of touch with there fanbase. They think that JO can stay healthy. This team has been run into the ground, and for some reason, the people responsible for it (Walsh and Bird) are still around. Those two should have been fired after last seasons debacle of a trade. Of course, when you have owners who don't really care about winning, these sorts of things will happen.
The Pacers are a laughing stock, and quite frankly, it is embarassing to admit that I am a fan of the Pacers. And I always will be. But until management figures out what the heck they are doing, I will continue to wear a brown bag over my head. |

O'Brien will never get 100% from O'Neal.

Janie is a good player, BUT NO STAR. He is not among the elite players. Pacers management is the only one with the mindset that O'neal is a star.
He has minimal trade value. His constant injuries don't help the situation, and also his 20 million dollar contract. The best trade scenario the pacers had was the deal the lakers were willing to make Bynum and brown for O'neal. But no, the great GM Bird wante bynum and odom. Larry "birdy" Bird fluffed another DEAL. WWW.FIRELARRYBIRD.COM |

mr A thinks reddick is a great player?? well some guys can shoot and reddick can but you have to pick several of his defenders off first and he defends worse than an orlando cheerleader.even tinsley could defend him.
oneal to ny for jeffrries(defender),rose(contr act expiring soon), and one of the ny wings and or a good draft pick. sorry jermaine but i think you would be happier in ny and you are a fan target in indy( good luck with the ny media -ouch). |
