This is a team that clearly is as unable to function as the Dolphins were this year.... and they are tied and stuck with a big baby Shaq that clearly will suck this franchise to the bottom for 5 or 6 years because this team right now has only one and 1/2 player with Udonis and Wade. And Riley can not and will not develop any young players.

I'm glad the Heat entertained the troops last night. I doubt if, with the way they're playing, they'll offer much entertainment value during the game tonight.

Let's just run everyone in the ground no matter what. Zo, Shaq , Wade, J-Will, Wright, ...now Haslem. If he's sick with the flu he shouldn't play.

Glen Rice should not not be allowed to participate. He`s just another hoodlum.

Don't kill the guy....let him get some rest. USA has so many good players. And they play like 90 games plus the playoffs and preseason. That is a lot of pounding and they need some healing time. On a side note, it's good to see Beasley bringing his game up. It's credit to the coaching staff for the way they handled the rookie and his playing time, but it's also a credit to the leadership of wade and haslem that they have kept the rookie in line. Moreover, it's a credit to Beasley also that he did not crawl into a shell or become a problem child and instead buckeld down and improved his game. He is going to be one prolific scorer in NBA.

true that Riley hasn't develped many young players due to his preference for proven veteran players. But, this team is coached by Spoestra now and there are a lot of good young players developing for the Heat right before our eyes such as Chalmers, Cook, Beasley, and Quinn. This isn't Minnesota. Heat is shooting for playoffs. So, they are not going to sell out all their veterans for young "potentials" that may or may not pan out in the future. Heat has good balance of youth and veteran. The problem is that they don't have a reliable center, real presence in the paint, a veteran backcourt security, and a veteran scorer off the bench. Riley should get someone now. Wade is not going to be happy sitting at the sidelines while Lebron and Bryant are in the spotlight day in and day out.
