Shaq and J Will out with injuries what a surprise. Both are wasted s.p.e.r.m. Always hurt just healthy enough to pick up their paycheck.

Sorry to hear that D. Wright is injured, but now this gives Riley a legitimate reason not to play him. At twenty years of age, with untapped talent, energy, grit and desire this kid deserves an opportunity to play. Riley seems determined to destroy the kids confidence and stifle his growth. The team is 8 and 23, if the kid makes a defensive miscue what benefit does he. or the team get by being benched for eight games. Riley should either play him and let him develop, or trade him.
When they do trade him, if Riley hasn't already destroyed his confidence, he will become a legitimate solid NBA starter, and Riley will end up with some 36 year old retread.

Wright is a bust. I don't get the Chris Quinn hype. Wade can't carry the team. No need to comment on Shaq and Riley. Aside from Haslem, everyone else is a scrub.

If this team was entertaining to watch or played like they actually gave a damn I'd stick around to see Cook develop.... wake me up when we're good again.

The Heat should be ashamed of themselves.

My wife and I committed to season tickets for 3 years,(this is year 2), but Arison, the billionaire owner, coudn't spend a bit more to go over the luxury tax, to retain Posey and E. Jones,(are team is lacking 3 point shooting and perimeter defense, exactly what they provide), if we had them Shaq wouldn't be crowded cause opponents would have to respect the 3, and he wouldn't get fouls from all the other teams penetrating, and Arison was to cheap to splurge on a decent point guard,(steve blake, early boykins, chuky atkins), so he settled for cheap alternative, Smush, we saw how well that went, then out of desperation, we made that horrible trade, of trading a bad player with a bad contract for a worse player with a worse contract (walker for blount), and traded a 1st rd pick for perennial loser Davis), when we could've packaged that pick with J-Will to get a good PG like Bibby or Miller. Now because of Arisons cheapness and our desperation moves are team is screwed, if it wasn't for the fact I'm a season ticket holder, I would just say we tank the season and hopefully get a superstar in the draft to pair with Wade, so he doesn't leave, either way we must trade J-will and ricky to bring in someone to help us next year, but no one with more than 2 more years after this contract, so when Shaq leaves we can get a superstar to match with Wade so Wade doesn't leave, fantasy warning: Lebron opts out and comes to Miami to pair him with Wade and are superstar we draft next year. Hey I can dream, until then thanks a lot Arison. You wanted to save money, but in the end with lost playoff revenue, and money spent at games from no shows you will lose money. Happy New Year!!!!

Riley waited way too long this summer to help his team after Kapono and Posey bolted. Now, he's waited too long again to pull off a trade because the value of J-Will, Davis, Smush are in free fall. With all the injuries now...he's literally out of options - rock bottom here we come!

Have you heard the gameplan Parcells has for the Dolphins? It's called a long-term plan - obtaining and developing talent much like the Spurs, Pistons, Mavs, and Utah do. Eventually, the wheeler dealer types always hit the wall and fall out of the race. That time is now for the Heat.

The rest of this season will take years off of Wade's & Haslem's careers as they both already look beat up. Shaq is already there... not even a factor anymore.

LOL, the heat arent going to even make the playoffs. i despise charles barkley, but he said one thing that i will always remember. he said, "everyone is going to have an off night offensively because we're human, you're going to miss shots. however, defense will always be a constant because defense is more about effort than skill whereas shooting a ball is more skill than effort."

this has been a tough season for the Heat and Dwayne Wade has been carrying the team on his own. There has to be some major changes throughout the whole team for next year and coach Riley has a large responsibility for the losses. Dwayne your still the best....this is just the Heat's toughest year............a sad but enthusiastic fan.

Lebron gets to have his way with Wade again.

Wade is a ball hog and show boat. I'm tired of his lame commercials and self promotion.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Sagittarius

The rumour mill is especially active, and interesting tales are coming at you from all sides. Don't believe everything you hear: there are people who will start gossip to further their own aims and you don't want to help them unwittingly. Similarly, don't reveal too much of yourself to those who you don't know intimately - keep your own counsel.
