This team has too much talent to be losing like this. Remember when they said all you need is 2 star players and a bunch of average players in order to be good and competitive (Think the Chicago Bulls with Jordan and Pippen) well it's not true. I think the chemistry was never the same after last year and continued to get worse which is very important. On top of that Miami's half court play is not suited for this team. This team has young athletic players that can run up and down the court like Phoenix. The bench is awful too, how many players on this team would probably be out of a job or playing in a developmental league. I can count at least 4 now. A weak bench which will not get better next year due to having money tied up in 2 star players. We need to change the way this team runs it's offense, that is the only way I see us being competitive next year.

Mark Cuban discussing the Heat with hatred? I am shocked.

We have lost alot of games at the final shot. That is not tanking, that is plain old losing.

I guess he tanked against the Heat and Warriors the past two years just to get a better draft position!

Cuban is an idiot when it comes to basketball. His team blew it's chance for a title with the Heat.

You have to have a coach with new ideas and faith in young players to develope a team. No matter who we get next season with Pat Riley at the helm, Same old same old. You can't change an old coaches ways. Besides he is egotistic and cannot see his own faults.

CUBAN AND DIRK BELONG TOGETHER 2 PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY ARE GREAT BUT ARE JUST AVERAGE AT BEST. DIRK DISAPPEARS IN THE PLAYOFFS BECAUSE HE CAN ONLY SHOOT JUMPERS AND CANT GET TO THE RIM CAUSE HE'S WEAK. WHEN THE D CLAMPS DOWN AND PLAYERS HUSTLE A LITTLE MORE THE YOU WILL SEE DIRK DISAPPEAR HE'S 7 FOOT BUT CANT REBOUND OR BOX OUT SMALLER PLAYERS AND HE HAS 1 MOVE A PULL UP JUMPER THATS IT. CUBAN SUCKS.

PAT RILEY INVENTED SMALL BALL AFTER ZO WENT DOWN WITH KIDNEY PROBLEMS . HE PUT GRANT A PF AT CENTER AND PLAYED MASON AT PF AND PLAYED 3 GUARDS . WE DONT HAVE THE PERSONNEL TO PLAY SMALL BALL UNTIL WE GOT RID OF SHAQ AND GOT MARION BUT IT WAS TOO LATE AS WE HAD LOST TOO MUCH AND WERE TOO FAR BEHIND TO CATCH UP. RILEY HAS FORGOT MORE ABOUT BASKETBALL THEN ANY OTHER COACH IN THE LEAGUE KNOWS ABOUT IT AND THATS INCLUDING PHIL JACKSON THE ZEN MASTER. PHIL JACKSON SHOULD COUNT HIS BLESSINGS HES HAD GREAT PLAYERS LIKE JORDAN PIPPEN SHAQ AND KOBE TO CARRY HIS LEGACY . WHEN HIS TEAM ISNT VASTLY SUPERIOR TO OTHERS LIKE THE BULLS AND LAKERS DYNASTY WERE THEN HIS COACHING SKILLS SHOW HOW FLAWED THEY ARE. RILEY IS THE BEST COACH IN THE LEAGUE PERIOD HANDS DOWN. DO ALL COACHES GO THROUGH LOW PERIIODS SURE BUT WHEN YOU HAVE A CAREER LIKE RILEY HAS YOU GET THE BENFIT OF THE DOUBT HE'S EARNED IT WITH HIS SUCCESS. THE HEAT CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM SHOWS HIS COACHING WAYS STIL WORK BUT HE CAN ADAPT TO CURRENT CHANGES IN THE NBA NOBODY KNOWS BASKETBALL LIKE RILEY.

One guy that always gives maximum effort is chris quinn. what a guy! he could kick everyone's a on this thread and then some. He'll do it, too.

Pat Riley better give him some playing time or he'll get his a kicked, too! The mighty quinn is not a guy to be messed with. That's what I'm talkin bout!

Tanking is what Dallas did in the NBA finals. Mark Cuban knows it when he sees it.
The Mavericks stand about as much chance as the HEAT of winning it anytime soon.

Miami does not need to tank anything. Their performance has been consistant all season.
That Cuban guy is nuts.

How in the world can people defend Riley, his coaching methods and his player choices. He is the one who got the Heat into this mess, and it's questionable if he is the one who can get it out. He only plays young guys when he has no choice at all, as he didn't have the year that he got Caron and Rasual, as he doesn't now and as we won't next year. The proof is how long he stuck with the older players this season, only got them onto the court when he had no choice. B-A-D.

it is pretty clear that they are tanking. i do not hear much talk about winning this season, from the coaches, management, or the players.

riley may think he is sly in trying to get the top pick, but chances are this losing will backfire. a losing history is very hard to overcome. Most teams that use this strategy get a stigma attached, and the "bad luck" seems to follow. look at the Clippers, Hawks, and Grizzlies, they have chased the #1 pick before.

I don't see the killer instinct in wade. its hard to tell if he ever had it, because he has only won with alot of talent around him. he has lost many games and it has to work on breaking down his confidence. it does not seem that wade, his doctors, and the team have been upfront with the condition of wade's injuries. most injuries in professional sports, team doctors have always given a timeline regarding recovery. it may happen sooner or it may happen later, but their always is a diagnosis with rehabilitation clearly defined.

who knows when wade will get healthy. most fans think next year. but has the team doctor given any indication?

riley is doing a crappy job in creating a winning attitude for this team. he may have been the greatest coach in years past, this year he is up for the worst ( I don't care how many championships he has won with the Lakers)

Of course, we neither have Jordan or Pippen. Wade is great, but he is not Mike. And we have no one approaching the complimentary talent that Pippen had.

JO will be fine. I like the fact he never takes any crap from anybody. Sure, you'd like to see bigger numbers but they'll improve in time for the playoffs.

First of all....I just want to say that it is awesome that the Heat has J.O. now!!! I absolutly loved him when he was with Indiana...yea I know that he has struggled in the last few seasons with injuries, but give him a chance. He's amazing! I think that it will become easier for him once he starts getting more adjusted, and before you know it he and D-wade will be an even better and bigger threat! By the way....GO HEAT!!! Im so proud of you...wooo-hooo!

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Aries

It's one of those days when you'd be wise to mind your Ps and Qs if you want to avoid putting both feet in it or feeling like a fool. The trouble is that you're finding it hard to think before you speak, and you're rushing into situations without thinking about the possible consequences. All you can do is to apologize and try your hardest not to let it happen again.
