Dallas Mavericks point guard Jason Kidd had a 17-year wait for an NBA championship
Jason Kidd had to wait a long time to win his NBA championship. Kidd, 38, had made two previous trips to the NBA Finals when he played in New Jersey under former Hornets coach Byron Scott.
