Beasley and Love were great, but I am beginning to think our greatest piece of luck this summer was getting Ridnour. How he fell into our lap is beyond me.

Great game to watch tonight. I was a bit worried early on, but they got it together and played fairly well. Way too many fouls called - some legit, some ticky-tack. Love played like he had something to prove tonight. Hope he can keep up the pace. Beasley also looked like he was out to grab that go-to-guy title. He kicked it up a gear in the 4th. JOhnson is going to be fun to watch for a long time. His shot is effortless and natural. He also can elevate! I am getting more and more excited. Now to see what happens against Miami. That may be an awful big bite to chew on so early in the season. Hope they acquit themselves well.
great win

I agree with you Wolvesfan. The games are getting bogged down with foul calls. It is really starting to take the appeal away. A new league might be able to capitalize on it.

Good defensive work in the paint. This team will be better if they can stay healthy.

I wish we have some young up and coming guys like the T-Wolves, but we are just in the losing process and will be years away from getting that franchise player in the lottery.

For now we are both in loserville,Minnesota. Good luck to both and we will need it more all the luck we can get.

First, if it means anything -- looks like Coach Rambis got Love's attention from his last quarter set down in the previous game.

Second, those of you who are complaining about all the fouls -- just hold your breath -- and complaints for a couple of more games.

Once the players realize that the ref's -- and the league -- are serious, the players will make the adjustments. Which is the way it should be -- the rules should be the same for everyone -- not just those fabulous few.

And both bloggers AND players ought to quit their 'whining'!!!!!

Great to get the first win. Also good to get KLove involved more. He's the closest thing to a star the T-Wolves have, a seemingly automatic double-double guy even without a ton of minutes.

Ya play one of your best players instead of sending a "message" and you end up with a win. We've had a long string of coaches that seem to always try to "make their point" regardless of the consequences. Nice to see Rambis get over himself and get Love into the action more. Wes Johnson is fun to watch, but he was cold for a lot of the night and still hoisting them up. Corey Brewer played like a man possessed in the 2nd quarter and clawed them back into it. 11 Blocks! Wow! Having some centers to work with- what a concept!

When you have a deeper bench you can go to someone else if one of the starters is cold. That's why the good teams win. Get these guys a years' experience and one or two more productive players and they might have something.
