someday in a baseball game far, far away, eric wedge will learn to leave a starter in who is pitching well, and stop treating starters like they are 12 years old...

that's if he's still manager

Aaron Laffey is better than ANY relief pitcher we have on this team. He had handcuffed the Tigers, and was in control. Even the most casual observer at home knew it was a huge mistake to take him out of the game at that point. He is a groundball pitcher. One pitch, two outs. As opposed to Betancourt...one pitch, four runs.

When will Wedge learn, you don't keep going to the same poison well time after time? He did this in 2006, like he didn't expect the constant failure to continue. Let the starters get thru 7-innings, Eric, then take your chances with the 8th inning and Borowski. This loss falls squarely on YOU, Skipper.

Betancourt single-handedly loses another game. When will he be sent down or cut? Soon hopefully. The guy just isn't the same without the 'roids.
