The ill managed mets let this guy go. The marlins will regret this move. Julio has tools, but no focus. Henry Owens has great stuff. No doubt, he should close. No other Gm but Omar would have let him and Matt Lindstrom go and get nothing back.

Good job Marlins in getting rid of Petit and acting like you got him for a million and good luck with Julio. I say how you were bitting your nails and pulled him out in about 4 and change as his fly balls were just missing the line for home runs and the fly balls were in the hands of the fielders. If you need a better closer than Julio we will give you Petit for a $365,000.

Very good, at leat someone knows what they are talking about, Julio is the type of closer that on a good day you are up by 3 at the start of the 9th and he gives up 2 runs with the bases loaded and strikes out the final batter for the win. I hope you guys have long finernails.
