LOL How's the "best division in baseball" doing now that IL play has started? Cubs are not a top 20 team. They play in the weak division and their record was simply inflated because of the weak teams they had played.

Milwaukee 2 gm losing streak
Cubs 5 gm losing streak
Cincy 1 gm losing streak
Pittsburgh 3 gm losing streak
Houston 3 gm losing streak

At least Rogers doesn't have the Sox ranked 29th like Baseball Prospectus does (with a big red arrow pointing down). He's got the Cubs at 13th, same as BP.

Well, both will change considerably over the course of the year. The Sox should improve, if certain players revert to their typical level of play, and the Cubs are going to lose ground to the DL, in the short run at least.

Whoever gets Peavy in the NL Central will have the best shot at winning that division, especially if it's the Cubs, Milwaukee or St. Louis. He'll make less of a difference for Houston.

Unless the rejuvinated Tiger's pitching staff falls apart, it might be tougher for the Sox to catch them, but, with Minnesota and KC fading and Cleveland DOA, it's possible the Sox might give it a run.

Someone will win the AL Central by default, again.
Does it really matter who it is ? If a team sucks, they suck, and just because they are in a terrible division and happen to be the team that didn't lose it doesn't mean they don't suck any less, right?

100 Years of Futility, you really need to get a clue. Almost all baseball people say that the NL West and AL Central are the weakest divisions in baseball. I would be embarrassed if my team was below .500 in the worst division in baseball, like the Sox are. You have to be one of the most idiotic posters I have ever seen on any message board. Your stupidity amazes me.

I'd be embarrassed if my team hadn't won in 100 years and if all of my fans were drunk frat boys from Iowa and Indiana. AL Central is arms and legs better than the NL Central

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Pisces

You have a one track mind today, dear Pisces, and it's running along very ambitious lines, absolutely determined to achieve something you've been attempting for ages. Can you be so committed that you're prepared to let everything else go by the wayside for the time being? That's great, but don't become obsessive about it.
