In this wonderful information on demand age, these are the best "whispers" you can come up with? Heck, half of this article consists of simple facts that anyone with a dial-up modem and google could find on their own.

Contender? The Cubs? Nah

What are the chances of getting Mark DeRosa back ?

ESPN's Bruce Levine made the Oswalt to the Sox talks early this morning. Come on Phil.....

Jake Peavy might CONSIDER coming to the White Sox later in the year. Tell him to kiss our ***. Better to struggle through a bad year than give up your future for a prima donna that owed a fortune over many years and is only a sore arm away from being very average. Don't do it Kenny! He had his chance.

Please no to Peavy, let the cubs have him.
|

Why would Peavy accept the trade later in the year when he won't accept it now? He's just saying that to not seem like a jackhole. I'd give Oswalt a tractor to get him to come here. Put Peavy and Oswalt on the Sox and look out! Of course they'd have to trade the farm system.

go get em!

So far the rumors this year has been Jake Peavy, Manny Ramirez and Brian Roberts coming to the Cubs.
And the Gatorade machine leaving the Cubs. |

Angel pull it all together in August I predict. Plenty of time just Texas in front. Team still in coma from young pitchers demise.

If we trade for Peavy, DO NOT send them Clayton Richard....

Oswalt and Peavey would not go the cubs because of Zambrano and Bradley. They do their hitting "IN" the Dugout!!!
As a matter of fact they are Hitting 1.000 apiece!! "IN THE DUGOUT" I guess they are afraid to sit in the dugout with them (Zambraano and Bradley). I am only stating fact. |

Whats with the refusal of Peavy and Oswalt to come to the South Side and the Sox, but practical go down on both knees and...to be on the Cubs? If they're scared of the neighborhood, tell them they've torn down the projects several years ago and that there's comparable hoity-toity living options for them in the short term (South Loop, Near West Side) and in the long term (Burr Ridge, Frankfort, Downers Grove, Homer Glen, New Lenox).
