I have always been one of Mark Buehrle's biggest champions and I see no reason to get off of that train. He is on his way to yet another 30 start 200 inning year for probably the 10th time. Mark Buehrle... YES!

This has been a great sports day for all of Chicago. I love how when the commercials were done Buerhle was already on his 3rd pitch.

Nice way to bounce back. Saw some great pitching, some very good base running, some speed and good hitting. I like that they bounced back from last upset game.

Despite what Kenny and Ozzie said they wanted to do in the offseason (again), this team is still going to live and die by the home run. If the pitching keeps up and they can get a FEW of those RISP in w/o a homerun this could be a fun season.
GO SOX!!! |

Now call up Podsednik & hope Ramirez gets going. Ramirez certainly won't get any help From Walker,in my opinion the most over hype coach in baseball.

I have a question? Has anyone noticed that in the Sports box on the Trib online first page that the Sox stories haven't been listed recently? Give me a break, what happens when the Trib does't own the team? Will the paper finally become more Sox friendly? All you people out there who don't believe the media is biased better wake up! This is why the coverage of the Tea Parties and other issues get little coverage and why more people are viewing Fox. Those people also read the Wall Street Journal but not the New York times for real news too.

Nice to see another Sox win, and naturally you have to search the web page hard to find it while the Trib slobbers over the other team.
Pitching is key, but power and high team on-base-pct helps. Small ball? How many times do you see the Sox (and other teams) fail to get the bunt down right (Josh Fields last night), fail on the hit and run, or run themselves out of an inning? Pitching is the key, but offensively, power and high on-base percentage trump small-ball. |

Of their 8 runs last night, only 3 were via the long ball. They took advantage of the walks and had some timely hitting and smart base-running. So far, it looks like they will still hit the bombs, but add some other pieces as well. And so far, I like what I see. |

No one gives us any respect. Last night I hear ESPN report that it was a great day to be a Chicago fan as the Bulls, Hawks, and Cubs all won. I hadn't heard the Sox result yet, and was surprised to see they had won. Looks like good timing to sneak up on everyone again and win another World Series.

How on earth is a dumbshit like you a champion to Mark Buehrle? |

Was this crap supposed to be funny? |
