Wow, This is a totally lost season. Smith, Start the Firesale. get rid of all the high priced contracts and let's start to rebuild. As Long as we have to watch Pathetic baseball, at least let's watch Younger players who are trying to get better. Not over priced crybabies who can't(won't) Play with little owwies. What a disgrace this team is.

That writing was about as bad as the Twins bullpen was.

I've wanted Delmon Young traded away for the last 4 years. He had great value last fall. His stock has now diminished so deeply that after last night's debacle, we'll be lucky to get a box of baseballs for him. Way to go Smith.

Keep Cuddy and get rid of Delmon Young. Butera is awful. Nishikoa will NOT pan out. Our pitching is ridiculously bad.

it's hard to say your bullpen sucks when your 3 best guys don't get the job done. No excuse for that. That's the story of the Twins this year, plug a hole in the dike and another breaks open. Not their year.

Murph: Where did you ever get the impression that Capps and this year's version of Nathan were "stud" closers? I don't think you could find 10 people in America that would classify Capps that way. He's a run of the mill middle relief guy that happened to get some save ops in DC and parlay that into a big contract. You do follow baseball for a living, right?

first person that should go is that manager, his pitching moves continue to be beyond belief. he pulls guys the minute someone gets a hit and starts the parade of useless relievers until there is no one left. gardy manager of the year is the most ridiculous award in the history of baseball! next smith should go and than start selling off the big contract players that sit on the bench and cry for mommy! problem is their farm system is also totally worthless. twins are DONE for at least 10 years, maybe more!

The Twins were supposed to have relief problems after ditching four proven relievers in Fuentes, Rauch, Guerrier, and Crain. Still, Perkins had pitched well up until last night. Most people get that Capps is over-rated as a closer, however. And, Nathan, though he has been helpful out of the bullpen at times, still isn't as strong as he once was.

I am beginning to think putting this team in the hands of Smith to re-build is not a good thing, he's track record to this point is not good. I can understand a few injuries getting in the way, but the farm system is as weak as I have seen it in years and he basically let our bullpen walk, leaving it a piecemeal mess.
