Juan...what are you smoking? Remember Herniamida in the 2 slot last year? If we have to keep him, keep him at 7 or 8...even if he hits well, they should keep him in the back of the lineup...he chokes up front.
Yeah, Hermida lost tons of games for the Marlins last year. He contributes nothing and belongs in the minors.

They'll have to move their stadium further north if they want to expand their fan base beyond Hispanic illegals, whose clock is ticking.

I just LOVE all those people who root for the team"back home"! You don't live back home anymore. I think that you might cheer for an ex-wife when making love. I hear people say that they have rooted for their "Home Team" for X number of years and are not about to change. Well, you changed where you live didn't you? I used to root for the Reds [knew people associated with them] before the Braves moved to Atlanta. Since they were the closest team, we cheered for the Braves even thought I knew no one with the team. THEN along came the fish. When my wife passed away, folks thought she might have been dressed as a Marlin when they put her in the ground. She knew players [had to learn new ones all too often], batting averages, etc. Right now [I am watching the game on TV] I still need a score card [ever try to get one at the game?] and someone to tell me who is playing. Enough from the soapbox, I want to buy a grooper sandwich. No matter what the 75 cent Sun-Sentinel tells you, I live in Okeechobee [where the Sun-Sentinel cannot find].

I had a brother who could pitch the cover off of the baseball. All the scouts came trying to sign him. He told them that he would sign with who ever offered the most money. One day he came running in the house, waving a piece of paper, yelling, "Daddy, Daddy, Look! I'm going to be a Yankee!" Daddy shot him.... never had one of those in our family.

Do we really have to be exposed to 162 games of the most boring sport (except curling) on the planet?

Daily Horoscope for May 20

Taurus

If a friend has been bugging you recently, you are likely to have a few sharp words with them today. However, least said soonest mended, so don't labour the point or turn them against you. Besides, you have better things to do with your time now, such as taking part in a big gathering of likeminded people or having a long chat with one special person.
