Great performance by West.

Very nice to see a young guy go out there and beat one of the best.

this team has enough pitching to get in the playoffs...they need timely hitting but mostly better defense....are you listening Beinfest? move Ugla to third...bonafacio to srcond snd hit eigthth against righties and second against lefties(he is a better right handed hitter and tough to double up.......Hermida and Carroll in right platooning....ross(except when ross is in one of his streaks) and DeAza plattoning in center and DeAza bat second when he is in the lineup....Nunez to closer and Lindstrom to the eigth inning so you can bring Nunez in if you get in trouble....gload and helms off the bench are good fill ins and pinch hitters....go marlins

Carroll is the last guy on the Marlins I would have expected to have a shot at the cycle.

My thought is to move Uggla to third and bring Coghlan to second, keep Hermida in left and Carroll in right and Ross or DeAza. Brett Carroll desrve a chance to be an all day player, He has the speed, power and arm. The more he plays the better he will become. His attitude is fanatstic. The many time he has been sent down and without peep. Starting pitching will keep you in the hunt. Pretty balanced with 2 lefties and 3 righties.

Great performance by the team last night. West was pounding the zone his strike to ball ration was sensational. And some of the guys getting an opportunity stepped up. Caroll, had two good swings and a bunt single. Theres no reason this guy shouldnt get the nod tonight, he stepped up and Hermida thinks he has things in the bag. Wake up Call time!!! Lets try and pull one out tonight guys.

I know it maybe a little early but Annibel Sanchez has shown very little. He was hit hard in spring training and except for 2 outings showed us very little. So far West has 3 quality starts out of 4. So if Nilasco implodes again or Sanchez continues his poor pitching, West should be a lock for the rotation. Another subject. GET RID OF THE 11 ERROR CANT HIT BONAFASCO. HE'S RUINING TOO MANY GAMES!!!!!!

Nice game...but once again gotta question Fredi....he plays Helms vs. Big Unit when he has wiffed 13 times and is 4 for 27 lifetime against him...and puts him in the 2 slot???

Hey, anything that keeps Hermida out of the 2 slot AND off the field I'm all for. It worked last night.

Nice game by the Marlins. So Brett Carroll goes 3 for 4, including a 3 run homer in crunch time. Hey Fredi, don't change a good thing by putting the no-good Jeremy Hermida in tonight. Give the kid a chance, he hustles, fields and hits, the three things Hermida can't do.
