Coco was a trooper for the 2008 season. He could have started pouting during the 2007 World Series after losing his spot to Ellsbury. At least from an outsider's view, Crisp accepted his role & played hard whenever he had the chance to play. Coco - thanks for your time here & good luck in KC.

Don't know about this trade by 'THE' EPSTEIN. Although on the surface CRISP for RAMIREZ seems like a 'good' gamble - cf JACOBY ELLSBURY has not NOT fulfilled most of the high expectations set for him. ELLSBURY is not the 'dominant force' that was expected-hoped for. And although RAMIREZ plugs a gap in relief-pitching - there are plenty more gaps to be filled!!!

Don't know about this trade? Are you kidding? Anything over two used fungo bats for Coco is a steal.

Even the Yankees have more heart than
dealing a player to the wasteland that is KC.

You have a short memory of Yankee trading history. Although the franchises in Kansas City have changed; it was onced referred to in the sixties as the Yankees farm club with the numerous trades between both teams. Prime example was the acquisition of Rogfer Maris and one of the Throneberry brothers.
Don't kick Kansas City around. They did defeat the Yankees, Billy Martin and Goose Gossage in the 1980 American League Playoffs highlighted by the "Pine Tar Bat" incident and the game winning homer run by George Brett off the Goose. They could not get by Pete Rose and the Phillies in the World Series.

You've got a taste for adventure today, so you might decide to depart from tradition in some way and make it an unusual Christmas.
