The Home Run Derby is WAY too long. And I can't believe Chris Berman actually gets excited every single time a home run is hit.

The 3 way tie "swing-off" was way too long. It could have been decided thusly:

Player A gets 1 homer or 1 out. Then B gets the same. It would then be 1-0. or 1-1. C would get likewise. Then it is either 1-1-1 or one, or two are eliminated. Repeat as needed.

Without Josh Hamilton, this was boring..

They should just have a longest home run contest, 10 homeruns, and be done with it.

They could have dug up Babe Ruth and it would still be boring.

Oh,please.The All-Star Game stopped
meaning anything years ago.It used to be a chance for fans to see players from the other league.Cable and
interleague play have killed both
the ASG and postseason,That's why the ratings are declining, and why they're
trying nonsense like the stupid Home
Run Derby. But MLB's biggest mistake was moving the game to primetime just to accomodate TV.It starts and ends way too late,so half the country can't see the whole game. And it's become nothing but a popularity
contest.Fans vote for the "stars"
and their hometown players,no the best ones. And why does every team
have to be represented?Nobody but the hometown fans cares if there's,say,
a National,Pirate,or Royal on the teams.Baseball needs to seriously redo the All-Star Game or just drop
it completely.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Aries

There is minor evil around today, whether it is harsh words or actions. Relationships with non spiritual people will tend to be abrasive, as you come to understand that such people can never be trusted, for their agenda is not love. Beware of criticism from colleagues or friends. Avoid being narrow minded and confining your views to the conventional. You may want to argue with everyone and everything, but beware of devouring your own energy in the process.
