Chris Ray woke up yesterday morning as the Orioles' closer. He had the same job when he boarded the team charter for Chicago, and nothing was expected to change tonight when he takes a seat in the bullpen.

My guess is Bell wil make traschel's start..That's the reason they bought Birkins up.Everybody wants to see olson but that won't happen until later in the year.

I thought the GMs get the players for the manager. And the manager uses the players as he sees fit. maybe the GMs should manage the team instead. Bell or Birkins should start in place of Trachsel. That's why the're here. Shuey showed that he could handle the closers job so I think that's a good start. Chris Ray has to stop rushing his delivery and let his arm motion stay the same as his body. His mechanics are so messed up he should watch some film of his success then throw a side session with Leo watching and straighten himself out.

I like what I see so far with coach Trembley. He seems to be going back to basics and that is what this team really needs. I like the coaches aggressive nature on the base pads and he really seems to have a good understanding of situations that present themselves in these games. Lets hope it continues
