Another nite of magic from Jerry and Luis. Is there anybody who also sees that Luis is the worst hitting field player in baseball? He is disgraceful nite after nite. Only Omar would do this. 24Million$. Nice moves again by Jerry tonite. Loved that punch(not a mistake)hit by Tatis to kill the ralley of the nite. Well done Gangsta!

. "Robbie Cano don't ya know" as the worst broadcaster in history would say, couldn't even get a fly ball to tie the games, Yankees so lucky they play in a sh*t league, they should have the WC, no way are they catching there daddies the Red Sox

Don't tell me when the bases were loaded, and you knew a left handed Martinez was on deck EVERYONE did yell to bring in Tatis a RIGHT hitting batter to face the left hander - it didnt' work but it was THE RIGHT MOVE TO MAKE.......

Just another whiney fan that isn't paying attention.

Stupid is as stupid does ! Tatis has 2-0 count on and doesn't even take a pitch b4 flyin out ! And Beltran And Wright with a man on in the 9th go up their looking to hit the ball out onthe first pitches's !! The dumbest baseball team in the majors ! And it all comes from The dumbest manager in baseball ! But according to Evan Roberts it's not Manuel's fault ! Yes it is ! HoJo answeres to Manuel , so Manuel should get it through HoJo's head to tell these idiots to work the counts and don't swing at a pitcher's pitch ! Being he seems like he doesn't communicate well with his players ! And this has nothing to do with their lineup right now .It doesn't matter who's in the lineup , none of them seem to be thinking at the plate . Just hacking ! And i'de rather have Wright hitting 290 with 20 hrs and 55 rbi than Wade Boggs nunbers Evan Roberts ! MVP ? Get a new job MORON !

I only wish he did fly out, might have put the Mets ahead. Actually, he hit into a 4-6-3 DP that ended the inning.

"We haven't been able to do that," Manuel said.(Huff's home run) "They can put instant runs on the board, and sometimes for an offense such as ours, it's tough to overcome it that late. Our thing is the bob and weave and jab and that type of stuff. They're hitting us with body blows."

Finally, the manager has said what everone refuses to look at and accept. This Met offense is, well, offensive. We are a base to base team,(meaning it may very well take four hits to score a run), with little or no will to come back late. You know what they say; you need to accept there is a problem before you can do something about it. ok we have accepted it, now lets get something done,(even if it means moving core players), before the season is to late!

Been saying this for so long it's tiresome. Talented group but dumb as a stump in baseball fundamentals. Absolutely no baseball smarts!

How much longer do we have to watch Tatis kill rallies? This guy is a double play waiting to happen.
Also, does anyone know what Wright is hitting with risp? How is it possible to hit .360 with 34 rbi's batting 3, 4 or 5? If he hit the same last year he would have had 60 rbi's. This season we need hr's not singles with no one on base.

For the last year or so I've been hearing people KILLING David Wright for always trying to swing for the fence and that LAME excuse that the 06 HR Derby screwed him up..........NOW, he's NOT hitting HR's and you're kiling him........

Which is it?

One thing nobody has mentioned is the fact that with the exhorbitant ticket prices at Citifield, the product being put out on the field doesn't match what the fans have to pay. Right now you have to watch an uninteresting powerless team full of minor leaguers. Is that worth $300 or $400 bucks a pop?
I went to the Phillies website the other day to find tickets for Mets Phillies on the 4th of July. The best box seats go for $70.00 each. what a difference. NY baseball fans are getting totally ripped off by the Wilpons and the Steibrenners.
