Reed Johnson latest to get shot leading off for Cubs

Fukudome and DeRosa are the two Cubs who look really good at getting on base: and that is the sole important trait of a leadoff batter. Look at how well the Sox do with guys like Pedroia and Youkilis leading off: all of those post-season appearances and victories are not coincidence!

The leadoff spot will be a problem all year. Still don't know why Patterson's up. Now you'll have Pie and Patterson struggleing at the big league level.

Felix Pie is a total waste of time. If he can't hit, dump him. He's had myriad chances to learn, and apparently isn't smart enough to be coached. Bring back Murton, who at least can hit a ball.
