Red Sox, Francona part ways after September's collapse

Boston just made another blunder by firing Francona. This is a proud man full of class. I know, you can't fire the team so....instead of firing Francona they should have fired their GM,
He put this team together, not Francona. He failed to improve the team at the trade deadline. He hired and overpaid Carl Crawford. He kept Varitec
too long...he's done. Knowing how injury prone
Youkilis is...wheres the backup. Four catchers that are worthless. the mistakes go on and on. Yeah, it's easy to find a scape goat in Francona, but the truth is, its their GM who failed. Francona is a manager who will land on his feet somewhere and win again and until Boston dumps their Gm they will go nowhere. 6 t0 1, Francona will win again before Boston does.

Terry Francona was tired of that silly town singing Sweet Caroline and holding hands in the seats.

I'm a Yankee fan, but this was wrong on so many levels. Francona is a class act and easily one of the very best managers in baseball.

Problem with baseball is that they always look for a scapegoat. As if everyone is always perfect, and teams are clicking 100% every moment of the year. As if Papelbon was at fault for failing to be lights out... LIKE HE WAS ALL YEAR.

Teams get hot. Teams cool off. The Red Sox and Terry Francona proved themselves winners many, many times before, and played as gritty a game of baseball in the playoffs as I have ever seen. Give some credit to the other team.

I cant blame Terry Francona hes one of the best coaches in the game and hes got a bunch of lazy bums playing ball for him. If I was him I would kick their a$$e$ to the curb also.
