Great job by Tex and Burnett tonight. Tex for not taking that kind of garbage quitely and Burnett for sticking up for his teamate like many NY pitchers hadn't done in previous years. If you want to win the big games you need this kind of stuff. Guys standing up for each other and lighting a fire. Great win tonight fella's.

Revoke the DH. This will not only return the AL to the rules of baseball, but it will also hold pitchers accountable.

It's pretty well known that the Rangers aren't all that fond of Texiera...much less Arod. But alot of this garbage could be avoided if the AL played baseball instead of this joke of a game with a "DH."

That way, other clowns such as Pedro (who eventaully threw an old man to the ground as Red Sox fans cheered, those animals) and Padilla would have to put their own necks out there.

But since the AL decided to stop playing baseball and start a game that calls for a 10 man team, all Padilla will get is a warning or useless fine instead of a hunk of horse hide down his throat.

Yup, they're doing a great job of working together as a team and covering each others back. Tex said Padilla is notorious for that kind of stuff and they didn't get along when both were in Texas. Tex said it stemmed from his objection to Padilla hitting batters and Tex get the retaliation. I'd let a bat slip out of my hands every now and then while Padilla is on the hill.

can't comment on anything controversial such as the moron who assaulted his girfriend after coming off zoltoff. another example of passing the buck for horrible behavior. the owners of this blog are liberals who protect assholes. know this, so me thinks need to stop commenting since they are taking my freedom of speech away. i will always excercise this right until it gets taken away and then i will excercise it some more.

I wasn't aware that existed between Teixeira and the Rangers. Wonder what caused that?...

For the exception of the National League, every professional organized baseball league has the DH. While I'd like to see it abolished as well the 3 point line in organized basketball, I just don't see it happening...

Mickey Mantle said when he really needed to send a message a drag bunt down the first base line would give him the chance to run into the pitcher for some payback.

Nice to see the bottom of the order had 9 of the 13 hits in the game. How Texas is in 1st place in the West is amazing to me. Where's the pitching coming from?...

Another 3 homers hit at the new Yankee Stadium. In the beginning, I had thought it was a good think, Now, I'm not so sure...

My guess is because Tex is generally not liked by his teamates (Texas,ATL,LAA) and peers and the Rangers and his peers view him as a free agent ho as do the team who brought him up.

That's pure conjecture on your part...

All I've heard about Teixeira was he was a great teammate in Texas and LA. Hank Blalock and Michael Young are considered 2 of his closest friends in baseball. Torii Hunter has acknowledged they converse regularly...

Free agent "ho"? One can consider virtally anyone wanting to test the FA market that way...

Hey Paul How you been?

Harley Jim

I read some stuff about him not meshing with teamates in Texas and LAA. I dunno how much is just talk if I have the time to find it I'll post the links.
Seems to work well with his Yanks teamates so who really cares? He's gonna bethere a while. You guys know I was never for the Tex aquisition for the Sox even posted that before he signed with the Yanks. Not that I don't think he's a great player just didn't think he was a good fit with existing players.
