RED SOX NATION,

Please send us more FREE PLAYERS, as long as you are paying for them, I am not going to complain. It is a win-win situation for the Dodgers.

Manny has to have a great late season run to get anywhere near the money he wants for next season from any team as a free-agent. Frank McCourt is more than willng to take in the dollars from the increased surge of ticket sales and Manny-garb. And the best part is that the red Sox are paying for it all.

Buyer Beware

The Red Sox fired Manny and gave him two months severance pay. Then they traded two rookies Hansen (no confidence) Moss (5th outfielder) to the Pirates for Jason Bay. To make it look like a trade the Dodgers picked up Manny’s rights and sent two equally disappointing players to the Pirates. The real losers here are the Pirates.

Manny got fired because he couldn't keep his mind on the 08 season. He began 08 by stating he wanted to finish his career in Boston. He played with hustle and enthusiasm through June. Then he started putting out feelers for contract talks. The feelers were ignored because the Sox have him under options through 09. Then he started misbehaving. It was really frustrating watching a talent like Manny tank his teammates on purpose.

You know, it was just like Kobe in the finals.

In Manny's mind saying he wants to end his career as a Dodger, is Manny speak for lets talk about a contract. I predict that in about three weeks Manny's interest in the Dodgers takes a nose dive if there are no meaningful contract talks.

You will marvel at his hitting abilities as he sucks the life out of the team and fans.

He needs a team like the Giants or the Blue Jays where he can work on his stats and nobody cares how those stats actually matter.

Yup Manny loves you guys now , but when things don't work out down the road. He's gonna say my knee hurts, my great aunt passsed away, among other excuses. We bought it in Boston too for a few years. You know he's not going to sign with the Dodgers next season. He's looking for 25 million per year. So where will he end up? I only know 1 team that would pay a player that much (Yankees). So enjoy you 2 months of Manny being Manny then you'll go back to forever 500 team.

If Manny was to be injured today and that was it for his entire season, it would have all been worth it. A couple of good wins over the D-backs when we needed it, some exceitement at the stadium and more attention to the two roster slugs (Jones and Sweeney.) All tings considered it has all payed off today, it's not like the Dodgers have lost any money on Manny, they must have sold a half million dollars in Manny garb already.

In fact, if you consider it, Manny's contributions are helping to pay Jone's salary. When Manny finally figures that out he is going to get into Jones' face and maybe we can have a good old fashioned locker room brawl. My money would be on Manny to win that one, unless it was Sumo wrestling which I would have to say that IchifatbuttJones would be the favorite.

So all you nay-sayers with Boston ties, we thank you again for sending us the FREE PLAYER who is going to get us to the playoffs.

Memo to Manny: Nobody will care if you call Jones and Sweeney out in the lockeroom over their miserable performances. So go ahead and lash them all you want, we are looking for someone to do that since Torre won't.

Hey Boston, quit your whinning, you buch of bitter loosers! Still sad your patriots lost the one game that really counts? Your Celtics might have beat up on our Lakers but they wernt even supposed to make playoffs last year, so now w/ the experince our "young" team has, oh its on! Bring on the Celts, we got something for them, first name Andrew, last name Bynum....Manny is now playing infornt of his people, folks who speak his Language, he can actually order food in spanish now, he fits in right at home with the international squad the MLB calls the DODGERS!!!Only in LA can he enjoy such a diverse team and fan base....we appreciate/understand our own peeps!

Good to see at least a few fans can get beyond his awesome talent to more important matters. As I speak, the Revitalized Ds are 2-3 with Manny hitting somewhere in the stratosphere. After almost 60 years as a Dodger fan, it would give me great pleasure to see this team and season go down the tubes. Never seen so much willful blindness: commisioner, FO people, scribes and fans.
Just a reminder: Manny the Flea-Boy did not start his quitting routine this season. Done it, one way and another, a long time now. In 2006, decided he had given enough valiant effort somewhere in August, and checked into Doctor Manny's Happy Hospital for Phantom Knees much of the remainder of the season.
I'm a union guy, and I think the baseball group is an honorable worker's outfit like the present Sudanese regime and their advisers-on-genocide from China are
honorable nations.
Their refusal to get after this thieving fraud and his poisonous agent for the theft of monies not earned is criminal.

By some quirky miracle the Dodgers make the World Series you better hope and pray they don't square off against an AL East team. Let me retract that, lets make it any American League Team.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Pisces

The last thing you want to do is to picking over every little thing. Instead, you have one eye permanently on the clock and you're trying to cram as many activities into the day as possible. This will be good fun and you'll enjoy keeping up the momentum, but beware of a possible tendency to become reckless or to try to cut corners in order to save time, because this will be self-defeating in the long run.
