This team is a joke. They can never win the important game of a series when it counts [ rubber game or the one that would let them win 3 out of 4 ]. I don't want to hear how exciting they are. They are the DISGRACE and DISGUSTING team they have been for the last 10 years and that is never going to change. A.M. and D.T. you don't have a damn clue. Glad I no longer have season tickets. You're too stupid!!!!!

my, my, my.....Oldie.........relax & take a T. If you really are an old-timer, at least beyond the big five oooooooooh..........you should know that in life there is big stuff and there is little stuff. Please do yourself & all those in the worldly sphere you operate within and give all a break. If you don't, confusing the little stuff to be BIG STUFF might break you earlier than need by.
Peace, calm, harmony & balance to you my good man.

Yes, Oldie. Jesus, exactly how old are you? Bet I'm 'older' than you and I recognize that this team is different and the season has been good despite problems. Don't like what you're seeing, don't watch and furthermore don't post. You sound like you're wasting precious time that could be put to better use. Crab off.

There's always a couple of morons like him and Ghost Oriole on here. Anyway, we're 47-50. If we win 5 more games, we will equal the win total that the experts predicted for us (52-110). I still think we can win those 86 games that I predicted, but at the VERY least, we WILL win A LOT more games than the experts said that we would.

PS I don't like our park being infested with Yank fans, and Red Sox fans, but I would MUCH RATHER sit next to a Yank fan at Camden Yards than a psychopath like Oldie from Woodbridge, VA. GO ORIOLES! We are ALWAYS behind you!!!

I guess everyone is too bummed out for comments or maybe you just have a life!

Listening to the ESPN Bos-LA game and they are discussing rumors on the Angels trading for George Sherrill. No speculation on who we would get

I don't have a life. Glad to be of service. Here's something I thought of. We split four games, but we lost on Sunday again. What would most Oriole fans rather have, if they had a choice: To split four games and lose on Sunday, like we did... OR... to lose three out of four games, but have the one game that we won to have been Sunday, and end the Sunday slump. Me, I'd rather have the split of the four games and lose Sunday.

It may be time to start getting rid of some valuable players while they still are valuable. I wouldnt give up Sherrill for peanuts but would hope to get some decent prospects for him.

We care. Who cares about a fraud of a fan from Frederick? Last year the Ravens were 5-11. The Orioles are 47-50. GO ORIOLES!

Maybe God has a plan. He will make it up to us on the fall Sundays by giving the Ravens 15 straight wins.

Maybe the Orioles are taking advice from the Ravens and taking off on Sundays. The Orioles are just following the bad example of the Ravens by being lazy and playing bad ball. And Ravens fans you can't deny it you didn't exactly come that close to the play-offs. By the way has anyone noticed that on Fridays Trembley rests all his starters at the same time instead of spreading it out and taking one at a time

I know that there's alot of guys bashing Oldie on here, but I must admit that(as an Oriole fan myself), we've seen this many times before and as much as I would like for us to win the whole World Series, I just can't get optimistic about a mirage.

You mean to tell me that with the sloppy baserunning, weak starting rotation and poor management of it by Trembley, along with a catcher who's caused more passed balls than Rupaul, the Orioles are going to finish above .500, in the American League East?, where we don't necessarily have to best record and just recently got swept in good fashion by the Blue Jays?

I can't blame Oldie for not buying tickets, because I am not convinced yet.

Think about it, the two best pitching prospects we had for a good while were Bedard and Cabrera. Everyone who traded with us wanted them, but we wouldn't give them up. Bedard gets good, and we throw a cheap three year deal at him, then try to place the blame on him as if he was unhappy from the get go. We trade him away for more rebuilding which was what he and Cabrera were originally supposed to be apart of, and keep Cabrera, who's still riding on "potential". I've met Cabrera and he's a nice guy off the field, but he just isn't consistent on the field.

So we don't pay B.J. his dough, put Ray in his place to go cheap. Ray has a good freshman year and a sophomore slump, then gets hurt, we trade for Sherrill and now we are rumored to be willing to trade Sherrill away?

We've heard rebuilding before. We've seen this excitement before. I'm just being honest. I mean, do you really think that MacPhail or Angelos is going to shell out for Texiera?

Who's our ace of the future?

We signed another plug in shortstop atop the many plug ins we already have

We make too many baserunning mistakes.
Our manager feels an unnecessary need to make moves in game when Pitchers can stay longer.

Our Rotation is not solid

Our offense is not consistent

We hit into too many double plays in the clutch.

And how are we going to have a winning season this year?

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Sagittarius

If you have any worries or problems today, a close colleague could have the answers you seek. Work will be satisfying, and anything to do with children should be very rewarding today. There could be friction with a relative, but it's nothing serious and things will sort themselves out in due course. Again, you must pay attention to your health, Saggitarius: skin infections are a strong possibility at the moment.
